More than a million printed documents and receipts have been scanned electronically over the last year in a major publishing operation to make information on MPs' allowances freely available to the public online. These relate to MPs' claims dating back to 2004/05 and up to 2007/08.

Well if you look you will find that the documents have all been blacked out, covering up all the important information. What a load of rubbish, these documents were ordered to be published and we get this. What will it take for the public to realise that we dont live in a democratic soceity but a socialist one! We demand evidence which is backed up by the courts and then they go and do what they like totally against the courts and the people.

Im disgusted.

IMO, this is going to fule more than releasing the actual documents. people will be suspicious (and rightly so) These *word i can't say on the forum* can't be trusted with something nice and simple like money, how the HELL can they be trusted with running the country?

This is ridiculous.

Theres entire pages completely blacked out with nothing more than a few numbers at the bottom.

Its time we sacked the government and took the power back.
I'm being deadly serious.

selfisolated, I agree with you 100%. Everyone of these bastards, need a reality check. They've been robbing us blind for hundreds of years. but unfortunatly, some people still thin we need them, for reasons that evade me.

I truly hope and pray, that someone takes it upon themselves to kill every last one of these surplus meatbags. They are subhuman scum, and deserve death.

I do have question why so much information has been blanked out. These documents remind me of released FOI documents from the US military on UFOs.

Why does the hotel that my MP use need to be blanked. I know where my MP lives and I have known since he was elected so what is the big secret?

Simply, there is not one. This is just another example of their power tricks and if this is the parting shot from Speaker Martin, then good ridance.

And why would MPs want to keep this information private? It leads the majority of people to think they have something to hid.

Not sure you can try MPs for treason just on account of taking allowances. I certainly agree that any MP who has made illegal claims should be subject to the full power of the law and tried for fraud.

And who would you replace our MPs with. we still need a system for decisions to be made and people need to step up and want to be part of that process.

It really is that simple. OK, some of the info, personal stuff, fair enough. But pages and pages of blackness screams guilt.

Evey single last one of those ***** are corrupt. All of them.

surely now its fairly obvious that they are a bunch of cheats who have no concern for the general public and only themselves... but thats ok whatever.

its the face that something could've happened a couple of years ago but because the public is only just up on it through national media the government come up with a reform now and pretend its for u.... that grinds my gears
