Are you dealing with a psychopath, sociopath or even a narcissist. I have, and I am lucky to be alive even though I have had to hide for 5yrs, got sick, starved and isolated myself in research. Now I am so fine, and very knowledgeable on the subject

It has been necessary for me to try to understand the nature of these offensive individuals as it is not in my nature to subjugate another.

This questionnaire also applies to the person you suspect may be a psychopath

The Test

My favorite video on the subject Equinox Psychopath

ha, I think I did the test wrong, I got a 505 Error at the end of it, does that mean I fail? Am I none existent. lol

Hey not sure if you finished your test page but you may want to check the code getting a read error on submission.

Or does that mean I'm a Psychopath LOL!!

Even with getting the 505 error and having answered about myself from what I would consider to be the persective of others, I see that I definitely fall into some negative category. About 90% of those questions made me think "God, was this written by somebody that knows me?"

Sorry Sykoz, you were right about the test results, so I changed the test to another

posted on Jun, 16 2009 @ 05:19 PM
Well on the new test it says that I am 68% psychopath. And I thought I was a pretty nice guy!

OK somebody with really huge problems please take the test and post results so that I can feel better about myself!

And I never even hurt animals nor do I think of people as pawns. 68%?

"The good news is that you're devastatingly charming.
The bad news? You mostly use those charms for evil!"

36% Sociopath

From time to time, you may be a bit troubled and a bit too charming for your own good.

It's likely that you're not a sociopath... just quite smart and a bit out of the mainstream!

That sounds right for me...

I manipulated my answers perfectly to get the desired result muhahahahahaah

Just kidding

or am I?

no seriously, I answered honestly

Here is what it said about me:

You Are 40% Sociopath

From time to time, you may be a bit troubled and a bit too charming for your own good.
It's likely that you're not a sociopath... just quite smart and a bit out of the mainstream!

That is probably, at least to an extent, a fairly accurate portrayal of me.

I'm not a sociopath. Pheew that's a relief.

4% Sociopath for the IQ question.

Does seeing my 4% against a 36% make me feel "better than"? If it did does that raise my level of Sociopath to 8%? Seeing that raise to 8% makes me a little nervous and afraid I could really be a Sociopath. Does that make it jump another 10% or so? Oh God, now I'm worried. I should have just lied on the test to begin with and never have gotten that first 4% but lying would have scored me a percentage!!!! Oh God Oh God Oh God Oh God!!!!

ahhhh.... 40% sociopath.

dang darn it!!

I have taken the test and scored a huge 60

You're not a sociopath, but you're very prone to antisocial behavior.
Other people's opinions matter little to you. You live your own fringe life - for better or worse.

I am antisocial when it comes to psychopaths. Sometimes I go out into the world just to find one and play with its head.

My score is still the worst? Oh no, this is like those purity test things all over again. I spent months of my life living that down.

Well I think that antisocial behavior may be conditioned by environmental stress, noisy polluted dirty urban life, competitive work...

I have lied my way through imposed systemic loops, and get my way with the zombies who represent no valid purpose or authority. It's all good. Secrecy is necessary because others distort what I say. I work for myself, no more sexual harassment. I have cheated on past lovers - they were cheating on me...

I am proud of my score because it tells me that I am not so naive anymore.

I detest these sorts of tests, really; its probably because I took a very lengthy test to determine which biblical character I would have been. I found the result to be very humorous, though; it scored me as Satan. Apparently, I'm exactly 86% more evil than the average mortal!
And another test to see which serial killer I would be said...Ed Gein!
And another test to see which mythological creature I would be said...a werewolf!
And another test to see how sensitive I am said...Very!

Do you see a trend here? These tests only pick a label based on one aspect of a person's mind. The test geared towards evil only tells you how evil you are, the test geared toward sexuality only tells you how sexy you are, etc.

Its a load of crap. If you want to know about my core personality, its INFP. If you don't know what that means, you don't deserve to judge people's minds; clearly you've not even undertaken the basics of psychology.

As an afterthought, it has occurred to me that I should specify that this post was not aimed at anybody at all; I haven't even read any of the posts here. I just took the test, and found it to be identical to the hosts of other tests I've dug up over the years.

Oh, and for the record, I scored well above the other posters here as a Sociopath; apparently sociopaths make good psychologists. Now, doesn't that explain a lot about therapy?

Yep, it's a bs test.. but what do you expect, it's on the internet, and this is ATS...

It says I'm 80% sociopath -- watch out.

Wikipedia has plenty of info on psychopath/sociopath disorders. Very informative. Very interesting.

On a side note, why wouldn't you want to be a psychopath? Life would be much easier without a conscious or empathy.

Hare's items

The following findings are for research purposes only, and are not used in clinical diagnosis. These items cover the affective, interpersonal, and behavioral features. Each item is rated on a score from zero to two. The sum total determines the extent of a person's psychopathy.[6]

Factor1: Aggressive narcissism

1. Glibness/superficial charm
2. Grandiose sense of self-worth
3. Pathological lying
4. Cunning/manipulative
5. Lack of remorse or guilt
6. Emotionally shallow
7. Callous/lack of empathy
8. Failure to accept responsibility for own actions

Factor2: Socially deviant lifestyle

1. Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom
2. Parasitic lifestyle
3. Poor behavioral control
4. Promiscuous sexual behavior
5. Lack of realistic, long-term goals
6. Impulsivity
7. Irresponsibility
8. Juvenile delinquency
9. Early behavior problems
10. Revocation of conditional release

Traits not correlated with either factor

1. Many short-term marital relationships
2. Criminal versatility

Edit to add: Good post, and thanks for the google video. Very cool

Test is still bunk, though.

Ah see there, I'm not sociopathic at all. I'm just deviant.

We used to call that trait being "fun at parties".
