I was browsing the webcam overlooking the popocapapetl (sp?) volcano when I noticed something in the picture.
Camera artifact from the sun?
spot of debris on the lens?
or....... dare I say it, a ufo?

Let me know what you think please!

Is it the second coming of christ?
dunno looks kind of like Elvis buggering the loch ness monster.
I'd be a little more specific but its sort of hard to make out seeing as you DIDN'T INCLUDE A BLOODY PICTURE!!!!

Am I the only one able to see the picture I posted??

As for movement, I was observing for about 10 minutes and then the item disappeared.

the pics back now. I'll have a proper look ;P

well, its definately a physical thing
and its an un natural shape.
doesn't look much like a helecopter.

could be a plane or a bird, fraid the pictures simply not good enough to state what it is.

on the plus side its definately a UFO
and I'd defy anyone to prove otherwise.
unfortunately that doesn't meen its a flying saucer.

Nope, it's Superman...definitely Superman!

Just not enough to make anything of it. Could just be a speck of dust in the air, etc.

Rygel chap, did you watch to see if it moved? Movent would be a great factor in the classification of this.

Asd posted earlier, I watched it for about 10 minutes, before it disappeared between one refresh.

I couldn't discern any movement, but the camera is quite a distance from the actual volcano, that the object, could have moved either way without being too noticeable on the camera.
It did not travel across the sky as you would expect from a standard aircraft flight pattern.

Were you by chance facing North?
Venus maybe?

the website states that the camera is trained on the North flank of the volcano, so I presume it is pointing South.

Possibly not Venus then?

Update - just checked the cam tonight at the same tme, and the object is back. It could be orbital/space orientated.
