Australia: UFO filmed in Bendigo, Victoria
Michael Cohen
A sharp-eyed resident of the town of Bendigo in Victoria, Australia noticed a strange object moving in the sky on Tuesday evening earlier this week. The unnamed witness noted that:
‘( I ) Just stepped outside this evening, enjoying a cuppa and this unidentifiable flying thing appears in the sky travelling steadily, I instantly ran inside and grabbed the HD video cam and captured what I could. As i was in a hurry, I didn’t switch the cam to night vision mode, it was set to sunny, though it was dusk
as for the shakiness, well I couldn’t believe my eyes! This object tracked across the sky with a relative velocity moving in an arch from north to south
I’ve included a few short shots at the end of the video to demonstrate how a star (B) looks through my cam and how an aero plane (A) looks through my cam, i took those shots five minutes after filming the object.
...I really don’t know what this is.’
Rural Victoria is generally one of Australia’s UFO hotspots. Generally most UFO sightings occur out of big cities. This is either because the skies are so much clearer than in the cities or as one rural Australian UFO enthusiast puts it ‘There ain’t much to do around these parts other than look up into the good old sky’.

Thanks to reader, Darren Carpenter, for sending us this video.

Satellite? Very bright though.

Satellite? No, they move much faster. This could have been anything. I'm surprised that all news even published it.

Possibly the ISS? I can't find a tracker that gives past info.

Here it is over SoCal on 4/3 in daylight. Does it look the same to you?

Dunno , i live near by. I don't see much. I always see shooting stars tho.

Looks amazingly clear. I am surprised to see its not you're average hoax.

The only orbital object that matches the direction of travel that evening is a Lacrosse 3. It was travelling NNW to SE between 6:28 and 6:37.

The size and brightness don't seem to match the satellite's magnitude of 2.6, though. It also appears to move along the horizon more than the satellite's track. So I'd rule out a satellite.

Edit : The ISS was travelling in a southerly direction low to the horizon betwenn 6:30 and 6:34 at a magnitude of -0.4. That's a much better fit.

Duplicate Thread.

Already being discussed here.

It's almost 100% the ISS.

Thanks Tezza. I searched for the thread before posting, but it appears the search tool isn't worth a cold pie.
