Hey, I'm having some trouble with my infogizmo.
When I boot up, Norton AV Auto Protect x's out, my network connections icon in the sys-tray doesn't appear and I can't log on to the net. When I check the related services in the control panel thet read started but I have to restart them anyway. In order for my network connections to work properly, I have to restart the Windows Management Instrumentation service. I have done full scans on my system and used spybot to rid some adware but I continuously have the problem, even in work.

Go to Run...

Type in msconfig

Go to the startup tab

Click Disable all

then restart your computer... try that.

Have you changed any other services from the default?

Is this 2000 or XP?

BTW, this should be in Below Top Secret!!

Checked network cable ? reseated network card?
uninstall, and reinstall the driver for your network card?
What does event viewer say?
Run file checker and see if it comes up with any problems
Have you installed anything recently? Uninstall it, see if it makes a difference.
