Well I really don't enjoy Beck's humor but at least he is bringing up good topics.

it's quite funny that going to jail for growing potatoes and when you get to jail you are asked to do gardening.

Honestly, out of everything this is the most scary out of it all.

No more growing your own food?

The woman who introduced the bill, Rosa DeLauro, her husband Stanley Greenberg works for Monsanto.

Truly disgusting.

Everything coming out as a law lately I keep looking at it lately as if it's going to be a global law.

So,the economy is toast.
People are living in tent cities and cant get jobs.
War seems to be an ongoing venture.

Lets see whats left........
Oh ya,controling the populations food.
This has to be one of the final nails in this socities coffin.

Control the peoples food, you control them.
I can just see the lines of people begging the mighty gov. for food.

And still there are people waiting for it to be "enough",before they do something.

If you are suspicious of anyone growing marijuana, potatoes, tomatoes, radish, garlic, onion, corn or even lemon grass please call your local authorities.

Also if you see people with compost in their backyard or even mulch please proceed with caution, they may be potential terroists!

Enter the War on..... War on Agriculture.

Ya know, there is always the hope that this bill is being taken way out of context... But at the same time, with the crap we have already gone through, most of us probably do not doubt that our own government would do this.

The wife of a Monsanto dude? You looked that up? It would definitely confirm that they plan on either keeping us in line, or killing us.

Nothing surprises, anymore.

Definitely worth a flag and a star from me. Bringing things like this to light is why I love Glenn and have been a big fan for years. He's not afraid to tell the truth. Hopefully more and more people won't be afraid to believe that the government isn't there to intrude into people's lives this way.

Little by little government takes over every aspect of a society. It manufactures a problem, bombards the masses through the media with warnings about what threats this problem poses, and then it comes to the rescue with a solution.

That solution is always a power grab. It is always about controlling that much more of a stake in every function necessary for society to continue to prosper. It is always about creating a savior image of itself.

And do the people care? No. They want the sense of security in knowing that someone else is taking care of their problems. Government is the biggest controller of society that they know, and as far as Americans are concerned, the government would never do anything to harm it's own people, so the choice is a simple one.

This news will go largely unnoticed by the general public because most people don't grow their own food. Their logic will be: "I don't grow my own food, so I don't care."

Laws are supposed to be put in place to deter and punish criminal acts. If the government cared any bit about the safety of our food they'd write and enforce laws against the toxic pesticides and hormones that big corporations put in the food and water supply.

Nice to see so much "change" happening under Obama. But I'm sure Obama fans have a logical and simple explanation....right?

Yea... Now you can see that Glenn Beck isn't taking it as serious as some of us are.

IT's so funny isn't it Glenn?

I'm especially fond of the news that Michelle Obama is starting
an Organic Garden at the White House.

do we all get to have one of those?

FDA says to avoid pistachios amid salmonella scare!

Anyone else wonder if this is for real, or if its just another created Problem so that people will beg the government to protect them by taking even more rights away.

Two people called the FDA complaining of gastrointestinal illness that could be associated with the nuts, but the link hasn't been confirmed, Acheson said. Still, the plant decided to shut down late last week, officials said.

Glenn Beck............blah, blah, blah..................

Does anybody really listen to the guy for any reason?

He is entertaining, but, sort of moronic.

Am I the only one with this opinion?

I know you didn't say he is an employee of Monsanto, but that is how I interpreted it at first. So just to clarify: Monsanto is one of his clients.

Greenberg has worked with corporate clients including BP, Boeing, Monsanto, Comverse, and United HealthCare. He has also advised the Business Roundtable, and the Athens Organizing Committee, helping Greece prepare for the 2004 Olympics.

I really need to pick up a sound card one of these days to listen to the videos posted.

Ive been following HR 875 since its inception. One of the odd ball bills that is introduced every so often that can bring the right and the left together. I rarely agree with "greenies" on many things, but I am hoping that we can work together to kill this bill. The right to be able to produce the foods that feed you and your family is no different in the individual right to breath, defend yourself, or to drive a well for clean water.

I hate going to stores to buy food. I never know what it contains. I would much rather grow my own, pick wild berries, or hunt my own game. The fact anyone tries to take any of these rights away for profit in the name of "safety" sickens me.

When they come to take my heirloom tomatos or anything else from one of my gardens, I will have no problem using my 2nd ammendment right, my first freedom. No one can or will ever tell me what to put into my body other than myself.

I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore.

I will grow my garden just as I have every year for the past 17 years. I actually doubled its size this spring, since I got a nice fence being put up and won't have to worry so much about deer and varments.

I will grow my usual corn, carrots, potatoes, cucumbers ect.

Lets just see them try to regulate me, not going to happen, over my dead body.

So this is tyranny. Anyone else agree? I say we americans arrest the real law breakers before this gets out of hand. THIS IS G-D TYRANNY. The government, federal or state, based on constitution has no authority to tell you what you can or cannot grow, including "illegal drugs" on your property for food and medicine. Obviously crack is not medicine or food.

Leaders of this country who are deliberately undermining our freedom. I place you under citizens arrest, under constitutional authority as A citizen of the United States. A sovereign land. RElinquish your position and put your hands behind your back now.

You all are being charged with tyranny and treason. Accounting for the last 100 years of you and your families trouncing economicly in mockery of real freedom. WE hate and despise you who claim lies in the name of more lies using law and power to do so.

Go quietly and we wont use the tazers and billy clubs.

Hope all you liberal hippies are happy now! Way to go on bringing down our society even further! This is the big "change" you wanted? I thought liberal hippies were all in support of organic food and what not, not the other way around. Oh, guess now you can't grow your own marijuana in your backyard, might be considered hazardous! Quick, call the govt. and have them take it away!

I agree with you, I'm still waiting for the spark that will start this second civil war so americans can finally wake up from their delusions of reality and face the real problem at hand.

I thought our duty as americans was to overthrow a government when it decides to go rogue and undermine the people it swore to protect. Guess we really are a nation of cowards

If there is a huge down-side to having a "liberal" president in office, is that for the next 4 years, we'll have to put up with Glen Beck's crap. I find it quite amusing that an entertainer is getting this much attention for speaking so-called "truth." Have any of you actually consider the ratings-boost Fox is getting? What happened to "WE CAN'T TRUST THE MSM!!"? Most people understand there's a horrible connotation to be known as a "Republican"
... it should come as no surprise Republicans are scattering to the "libertarian movement."
