Above Top Secret Hiding Something?

Every now and then I see curious titled threads under the new post section, the most recent was "Above Top Secret = Garbage". Yet, the thread when clicked upon was nowhere to be found. What gives?

Usually its some disgruntled member who has finally decided to post their feelings (which are generally much nonsense and rambling) and the staff thusly trashes the post because its a waste of time and resources to give it a thread which will just end with the same conclusion as every thread like it since the beginning of the site.

You know, I was almost thinking the same thing. Too many posts have been mysteriously silenced to be a coincidence.

As you can clearly see he wanted his post in the Garbage. Just some member posting his emotions on the forum that was totally irrelevant.

The thread most likely got trashed... If someone makes a thread and the content is innappropriate, it will be trashed.

The thread you are specifically talking about was about a FORMER member (now banned) who was upset he could not talk about and glorify his use of illegal substances.

He made 8 posts within an hour all of a condescending nature against ATS and its implied rules we all agree to when signing up.

He was warned, and kept recreating the same thread over and over....

He got the attention he wanted in the end.. just not the kind he was expecting.

Yeh he opened many threads ranting about the same stuff.
By the time you clicked on it, it had probably just been removed.

Threads that are either

a) A T&C Violation
b) A repetition of a recent other thread
c) Posted in the wrong Forum

either get

a) Moved
b) Removed (Trashed)
c) or Closed.

In this case we're going with c) and c).
