agreed with the entire post

keep in mind the two big daily newspapers in vancouver,
Vanvouver Sun and the
The Province

are part of

Canwest Global Communications Corp. is Canada's largest media company. .....
Canwest is Canada's largest publisher of paid English language daily newspapers
and owns, operates and/or holds substantial interests in conventional television,
out-of-home advertising, specialty cable channels, web sites and radio stations
and networks in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore,
the United Kingdom and the United States.

yikes, up till now i only thought Global was Canadian Joke or something, but
seems they are Global....

might they have a lot of influence on coverage of the olympics and all the
rest of that whole event, and then there is what, a gang war in vancouver....
i can see why they would not want those particular words taken out of
context and spread all over the net like some sort of viral message to the
world that vancouver, a quiet city in canada has a nasty situation, well, three
situations, gang wars, homelessness and lack of affordable housing, (soon
there will be more homeless, same as when the expo '86 happened)

yes, do Not tell Anyone there is a Gang War in Vancouver BC, the 2010 Olympics
are coming

Regarding the Olympics, it seems that several promises have already been broken. Buildings have been built, orignally with conditions promoting the consideration for low income families such as low cost living units.

Problem is, the units at this moment in time aren't selling that well, which means the city claims it must now price ALL the units at full market value.

So much for the homeless and poor. BC is a playground... For the rich.

Only the wealthy have profited from this; the poor have been thrown out, as usual.

It won't be long before crime and use of illegal immigrants increases since there aren't enough poor people around to do menial tasks because they've been priced out of the market and they had to move, leaving the market for undocumented workers WIDE OPEN.

Who profits? The wealthy, of course.

All of this is given a 10 second spot in the evening news, once a month.

Citizens, enjoy blood in the streets in 2010 through 2013.

Take back your country- if you dare.
