religious text to justify their acts

why are their so many hypocrites on ATS and in the real world?

we have hypocrites on the Muslim Side who use Verses/snipits from the Quran to justify their vile acts (i am muslim)
not that i have seen any other Muslim on ATS justify actions on ATS using the quran.

We have Chrsitians on ATS acting like hypocrites when it comes to certain things by calling on other religions and saying they are evil while quoting their own verses to justify actions (i wont mention the people)

we have people of the Jewish Faith doing the same thing aswell as the above two

and so forth.

i find it amusing and contradicting when someone trys to justify something but in the end make their point look exactly like the point that they are trying to argue against.

I would have to agree.

Although i don't think everyone who believes in a certain religion is like this. But i know many who are.

All religious texts have contradictions within them.
It's a product of being written by different people over time, and changing attitudes as to what is and what is no longer applicable...

So, trying to use cites from such texts as justification is just as easy as finding a quote that says the opposite....
