i find this type of talk on a public website, from a major commentator truly repugnant. to even request this info, much less keep it on your own website, should be investigated for inciting to overthrow the government. words have meaning, and can cause someone to take action. basically, what hannity is inquiring about is that since the republicans lost the election, there is a violent way to take back control, and which of you out there would favor a PARTICULAR form of violent overthrow.

The tactics of a confirmed ratings whore are often underestimated.

especially with the 1st black man as president. there are people already highly agitated about this election and this is just fanning the flames. and the important thing to remember is that sean hannity and FOX NEWS are smart enough to know this, thus they are deliberately trying to incite people to take action. i think they need to have a visit from the secrect service and FBI.

Yes, its his site, but its a public message board. Its not like he posted it. Look at some of the stuff that gets posted here. I doubt that Hannity spends his days moderating that thing. As a matter of fact, I doubt he ever even looks at it.

I agree that Hannity is a ratings whore, the sound of his voice makes me want to punch something. However we have a right to talk about such things, action is another thing all together. We did have the second amendment put in place by our founding fathers strictly for protection against a tryranical government.
Something has to be done, I dont care if it is a balck, brown, blue, republican or democrat in office. Our federal government is OUT OF CONTROL! Not saying an armed revolution is what needs to happen, but they sure dont seem to be listening to other things we are doing.

First off, you changed the title of the thread on Hannity's board it is: "What Kind of Revolution?"

This was posted by on Hannity's message-boards by a member, not Hannity himself. Similiar posts are made here, but with one difference -- the member on Hannity's board does not seem to be a sociopath and in fact seems to be critical of those talking about using violence to further their political aims. By asking them this question, he is showing them how armed revolt is not tenable option.

Which do YOU prefer?
#1- Military coup... this is the only choice that mentions "government". We the people donot have much say as to what the military does. That action would be prepared, planned, and performed without our prior knowledge. We can advocate a coup all we want... but we have no control.

#2 Armed rebellion... against whom? fed up civilians taking up arms against their enemies? Is their a war looming between the "government" and civilian population? Who is the government... civilians chosen to govern civilians.
So who is the enemy?

#3 State secession... Doesn't make much sense to fight over this. The states have that out with the 10th Amendment...
I am in Arizona... We have not, as yet, legislated an open season on Californians, or Coloradans.. but watch out Nevadans!

A completely legitimate forum topic on a public board. I did not see anywhere that Hannity chose one over the other, but rather explained the types of revolts, and what to expect from each.

Yea, MSMBC just spun the heck out of this thing last night. Whores.

Its been a long long time since I have watched them. So last night I let it run for several hours. Man are they a sloppy bunch. If such commentary were a puzzle, it would be like one of those giant 10 piece puzzles for kids.

Whatever man. I hope people take action. Self- censorship is crap. We need to be incited to take action.

The actual name of the thread in that FORUM is:

"What kind of revolution appeals most to you?"

Those supporting the OP and calling out Hannity for being an attention whore also need to call out the OP on similar tactics.

I am.

Well, I for one find this disturbing and outrageous enough to have spoken to the FBI about it. I don't find this "thought provoking", and certainly not "funny". C'mon people, this idiot is inciting people to violently overthrown the government of the United States!

At the very least, Sean Hannity and his friends involved in this should be arrested under Feiner v New York (1951), and throughly questioned for charges of treason in what exactly is their purpose in inciting a nation-wide riot against the United States.

And he says liberals "hate America". Just criminal.

I have a mini-revolution going on every day.

When ever Hannity starts talking, I change the channel.

Viva la Revolution!

1st...it appears that this poll was not a "post" or it would have had the members name date, and time, like the other posts. 2nd...uhmm...the definition of a sociopath describes a person that would be inclined to write up a poll such as this. 3rd...the context of the website does NOT appear to be a academic roundtable of the pro and cons of a classical revolutionary theory.

i consider the last election a revolt by an 8 million vote margin. i guess people on hannity's website don't consider that a legal recourse, but i do. a non-violent revolt already happened back in november, that's the way it works, and to think otherwise is to insinuate that now that a DEMOCRATIC president was elected, you have to have a violent revolution. somehow, i didn't see this poll when george bush was elected

being that i am the OP, typing on this website hardly makes me an attention whore. calling out hannity, who makes his living venting his hyperbolic hostility toward anyone that does not drink the same cool-aid as he does, and on a hour-long national T.V. show, seems a better fit for your aforementioned phrase.

Your preference wasn't one of the choices offered.

The rest remains to be seen. Be sure to stay on the good side of your IRL neighbors...

How about a forced resignation..?

The only problem with the US seems to be that the US government has too much control over the armed forces for anything like that to be plausible.

Also, the funny thing is that when another country's government is forced to resign, it seems, in the eyes of American media/citizens, that that country is weak/undemocratic/socialist..

Funny how real democracy works isn't it..?!?!??
