Video: Three spherical objects over Olsztyn, Poland: 1-30-09

Interesting footage...Giant triangle cloaked, perhaps? Or three seperate objects? You be the judge...

On the 30th of January 2009 around 5 pm. Mr. Marcin K. walked along the crowded pavement of the Pieniezny Street located in the center of Olsztyn (northern Poland). Suddenly he noticed 3 spheres of light in the sky above the building on the opposite side of the street.

At first he thought that objects making the triangle formation are motionless but later he noticed that they are moving slowly at the same direction maintaining the same distance from each other.

After few second one of the objects started to fade as the “triangle” began to “rotate” to the right. Additionally witness had an impression that spheres are rotating fast around their own axis. He assumed they are about 50-70 meters above him. He grabbed his cell-phone and stared to film this unusual phenomenon.

Chinese Lanterns without a doubt

they are streetlights and nothing more...you need to be better that this

Chinese Lanterns coincidently maintaining the same distance from each other is pretty amazing. It is also pretty amazing that they managed to stay in a sort of triangle shape for a while before they all split up.

Seems more like controlled movement from RC Craft, like a builder's club in Poland. I guess there isnt too much to do up there in Poland right?

The question now is: Which is most likely?


The chinese lanterns luckily flew this way.

or

Remote controlled hovering craft are performing synchonized aerial manuvers.

or

Visitors from outside Earth have come millions of miles to examinine life in Poland.

Yeah, the chinese lantern theory (at least on this one) is pretty weak...

The lights keep a uniform distance from one another, and appear to move in unison to one another.

It may be RC hover craft, but that uniform formation again has me scratching my head.

Do RC craft have give off a measurable sound signature?

Three of any objects can make one of two formations; a straight line or a triangle.

The segment showing three lights is too brief to judge how much relative motion there is between the lights.

A group of objects drifting with the wind will drift in the same direction and same speed as the wind.

A the end of the video there is only one light remaining and it seems to have gained altitude. The burn time of sky lanterns varies. While still lit they will continue to rise (unless they encounter a strong temperature inversion).

Everything displayed by these lights is consistent with the behavior of sky lanterns.
