This is a thread to discuss the free market practices of AMERICA and the future concept of free market capitalism.

Is it good for US - U.S?

Is it good for the world?

Should regulation be tighter?

Should regulation be abandoned?

Can we make it work to satisfy multiple schools of thought?

Or, is it one way or no way at all?

I hope we can keep this intellectual and refrain from DNC, GOP, LIBERALS, CONSERVATIVES, NWO etc...

I think our nation has been crippled by blue and red. The emotional nature of politics prevents the intelligent common sense communication we so sorely need at this time.

the hard part about this discussion is that there is no such thing as free market.

never really has been.. never will be.

the second the U.S decided to "bailout" anything, "free market" ceased to exist.

the only way to "fix" this situation is to let it fail.

Ok so lets say it all goes to pot...

What have we learned?

Do we continue buying cheap radios from CHINA?

I say this because, I believe in importing all this junk from CHINA kills better paying American/ Canadian jobs. Replaces previous manufacturing jobs with lower paying jobs. On top of that, then the government assumes much of the costs of healthcare
or these hand to mouth employees.

As I see it the only way to compete with production of a third world nation is to assume the economy of a third world nation.
