so you keep lamenting rev wright. Well, im white. And ive actually LISTENED to several of wrights sermons......have you??? not the little clips on the news, but the whole sermons. And i have to say that most of what he says is in line with the truth of what goes on in america today. I found myself actually agreeing with most of what he said ( albeit, i actually have READ much of american history in vietnam, korea, wwII, el salvador, columbia, panama, etc, have you, i wonder?!)
I dont recall rev wright ever urging violence against any other groups. I dont recall rev wright ever being cited for attacking others or committing terrorism. I dont recall rev wright putting down other humans. If he did, then by all means, show me where he spoke something about a peoples that was false and slanderous.

It seems that GenRadek is doing the same thing with Rev. Wright as he was telling us not to do with Rush. Taking his quotes out of context.

I'm sure that Rush has never experienced any kind of discrimination, that's the difference between him and Rev. Wright.

Socialism in America

Influences of socialism on American society today

The effects of socialism in America can still be felt today. According to the Future of Freedom Foundation, any government-owned, -funded, or -subsidized operation is considered to be a socialist program. For example, publicly owned airports, sports arenas or government-funded universities would be considered socialist operations by that definition.

And what about all those public schools. (Socialist, government owned)

I think a whole lot of "socialist policies" have already slipped by you!

Don't forget the "Conservative" G.W. Bush hading billions of dollars to the banking industry in the largest push of blatant financial socialism I've ever seen.

How do you convince others that it was not socialist you ask?

Tell them the other guy is the real socialist..

The man said repeatedly that drug addicts were the worthless scum of society and should pay for their crime with prison time or worse, their lives.

The same man who popped 30 oxys a day until he was caught in a parking lot with his pants down...

And you still listen to this man and care what he thinks?

Are you kidding me?

What redeeming qualities do you see in this fat-ass xenophobe right-wing nutter druggie? Seriously, I need to have this explained to me...

Obama didn't raid the radio station and lock good ol' JellyRolls up, did he? No, so just quit already with the 'freedom of speech' rant.

This is just another example of what will happen when the 'Fairness Doctrine' is revived.

Hold on to your comments people or you might be nailed for having an opinion.

Did I miss something? Where did Obama tell Rush to "stfu"? All I heard him say was that you can't just go listen to Limbaugh and then expect to accomplish anything.

Can you honestly disagree? Can someone just watch liberal media and expect to have a full scope the situation? Hell no, let alone an extremist like Rush.

This is reminiscent of Bush saying he doesn't read papers, he just gets his information from his partisan-hack of a cabinet.

What crap. We had the fairness doctrine before, and it never kept people from stating their opinions. It was after we got rid of the fairness doctrine that our news bacame so one sided, and controlled by 3 main groups. Now we have a system where only certain approved opinions make it to the main stream media, and yet we cast aspersions on the fairness doctrine. White is black and up is down. War is peace, and terror is freedom, in the good ole US of A

It is quite humorous to see the same people who advocate for Ron Paul rip on the Fairness Doctrine. Ron Paul would have gotten the air time and attention he deserved if the act was still in effect today.

Not me!

There must have been some fine print in that article that I didn't see!

I agree that Rush has a right to say whatever he wants, but the things he says are vile. He was nothing but racist and fear-mongering throughout the whole campaign, and always has been. He's uneducated and small-minded and is keeping others that way. He's part of the problem. I have no problem with Obama telling him to STFU.

Edit: I hardly think this is "the first step to a real leftist dictatorship", it's doing people a favor.
