I don't think there is a thread about arabic music here. So I'll make one.

I love all kinds of music. Arabic music is great.

We've all seen the negative sides to arabs on the news, but what we don't see is the many other sides to arab culture.

I think one of the best ways of expressing culture, people, compassion etc is music. Music brings the world together.

In this thread I'll find some of my favourite singers and post some of their videos here for you guys to enjoy. If you know some music you like, don't hesitate to post it.

I really hope this thread gets a lot of replies, because I think it's very important to show more of a balance to the reality of the real arab people.

To remind people that there really is another world out there, that has nothing to do with war, terrorism, violence. A world full of fun, compassion and love. Music is one part I would like to share.

Enjoy!

Not arabic, I think it's Israeli.

But I don't mind, any music from the general middle east area, Persian, arabic, even turkish should be fun. Post away.

Hi what am I not doing right and thank you.

Ok like this

Instead of typing the whole link between the yvid, do it like this:

Right: xeVqsCW1dyg&feature=related

Wrong: uk.youtube.com...

So only the part after the =

So this example is a great singer called Najwa Karam

Powerful, AMAZING voice....wow.

Is there a way to change the thread title, I want it to be
Arabic Music Videos and celebs Here! Music brings the world together.

I thought it might make the thread more interesting to post about actors/actresses etc too.

I just love how the man looks almost like him haha.

Samira Said - Aweeny Beek [English Subtitles]

Samira Said - Lila habibi [2001]

Samira Said - Ah bahebak [1999]
