I was at my local rite-aid with my daughter today. She was picking out a card for a friend. There was a greeting card vendor in the aisle, dumping discontinued cards in a huge box. The box was full. I watched the lady as she took a squirt bottle, tipped it upside down and totally saturated the cards in the box with a red colored liquid. The cards were going in the trash and were purposely damaged so no one could use them again.

Why don't these companies recycle their old cards, or at the very least sell them to discount stores? What a waste! How many trees were cut down to make those unused cards that will end up in a dump?

Stuff like that really pisses me off.

PErhaps you should have asked the person that was saturating the cards. Or call the store and talk to the manager.

I don't support the Global Warming movement simply because I don't believe the BS marketing campaign but I do agree with you, why waste them all? If we can be resourceful why not be, no sense in wasting.
