Ahmadinejad is mentioned only in the last paragraph of the article.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the raids showed Israel's "weakness".

Edited to add: but I think you are right.

3 countries that israel and US would never dare wage a war on or send ground troops in.

1)Pakistan
2)Iran
and
3)Somalia

These 3 countries are guaranteed safety and eventually many more will follow in their footsteps by playing cool 'democracy' with the world but also supporting and arming millitants undercover.

Pakistan is India's domain apart from a snatch squad re the nukes. Somaila? not really worth it so yes true. Iran? I do believe US would like end of regime using whatever, ground troops........ you may be right, plenty of other tech in the area to put back Iranian military industrial complex many years. Depends on unforseens of course. I mean the Iraqi affair would never have happened without unforseen 9/11. Maybe another unforseen even worse than 9/11 and then like before, things and views change.

Ufoor, what has 9/11 got to do with Iraq other than nothing. As there was no connection betwwen the 2 events and even the idiot Bush agreed there were no WMD's so please explain the connection between the 2. Or are you just qouting from the gutter press again?

Well 4,000 US soldiers dead and thousands injured in iraq has given a rough idea to what US should expect if it goes into Iran. And i don't think the people of US want to see any more of their young boys returning in coffins from ME.

Pakistan's got nukes so that's out the equation.

And somalia, hmmm well that's practically suicide for US.

US, China, and Russians will never fight against each other. Haven't u heard of MAD. Nobody can win. Iran is on it's own if the US decides to fight them. Russians may supply them but that is it.

Bush made the connection between 9/11 and Iraq. The fact the US went into Iraq was fear of more WMD and another type 9/11. The two were very linked (whatever the truth) by US for invasion of Iraq. Point is another unforseen scenario could arise like 9/11, then things like iran become differently thought of. like an Iranian attack on Texas using WMD, then views on Iran change. I'm saying you never know what reality is round the corner, just like we never saw 9/11 until the reality of it happened, then government priorities change.

Defend the Palestinians?

Oy vey!

I'm betting no one lifts a finger. The Arab world, which is quite different from the Persian/Iranian world has had it's taste of the IDF and they aren't interested in any further ass whippings. The Iranians find their geographical convenience and ability to stir the pot by proxy advantageous now. I have a feeling that once their cheerleading is falling on dead ears, the party will be over.

And if I'm wrong, I humbly invite Syria, Egypt, Libya, Jordan and any other malcontent nation to join in.

The water is warm, come on in.

All Palestine needs is for Hamas to stop firing rockets. This would then give the Israelis no pretense for invasion.

Perhaps I'm missing something, but surely constantly attacking a larger neighbour is going to get your ass kicked?

At last some one has finally got the spine to help the Palestinian people. This is just what the perps wanyt thought this is why they are using their proxys Israel and Hamas. Start a conflict and escalate it to a wider war, blame it on the Muslims then all hell breaks loose.

Actually, I think it shows who (iran) was behind the hamas decision to break the truce and start firing missiles at Israel.

Another war by proxy ...

Oh, and before any of the (so-called) palestinian appeasers/apologists start in with the "hamas was provoked to start shooting missiles first and Israel is bad for shooting back" BS, let's just remind everyone that hamas could also have easily chosen to negotiate rather than shooting missiles. The facts are simple here. hamas started shooting first, and now they and their supporters are whining about the consequences.

Why dont they come to the Palestinians aid? I know why. They dont wanna get blitzed thats why...its just more rhetoric from Ahmanutjob.

Prince answer the question I put to you.

Ufoor just exactly what Planet are you living on, You believe the words of the greatest buffoon that ever lived Bush and the rest of the brain dead Americans that believed that Iraq was behind 9/11 when there was not a shred of proof.

Exactly the same with the WMD's perhaps you have forgotten Hans Blitxz report stating that there were no WMD's in Iraq. The whole thing was a greta big lie and millions of innocent people have died for it. Its is it convenient is it not when all you pro war and people haters forget the facts of the matter.

Centurion, yes not doubt Hams is being used, perhaps you will agree that the axis of evil UK/US/Irseal are doing exactly the same with their proxys or are you like all the rest you just see one side of the problem?

Point being you do not know what is round the corner. There can be an event and another event falls into place. No Archduke ferdinand, no First World War. A set of dominoes? Nobody knows if another 9/11 is around the corner and what it would lead to.

Jeez, mush! Yesterday it was one million Iraqis. Today it's suddenly two million Iraqis.

You guys need to get together and agree whether the US killed 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians or 2,000,000.

Unless last night the US killed another 1,000,000 that we haven't heard about.

I, sitting here in my cozy palace, order all Muslims to die for, I mean fight to defend the Palestinians while I sit here in my Palace smoking my cigar, reading my porn, and drinking my whiskey.

Maybe true now and maybe that used to be true. Who can say now as things change rapidly?

My point is which country lately seems to want to keep stirring the violence pot in the middle east more - iran or saudi arabia. My vote (and history) is on iran.
