First off sorry if this has been done before but here is the overall view from a news websites link. I know some people on ATS are Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sympathisers but like this article I totally agree, but at the same time its good we hear what he has to say so it brings some exposure on him. People say his overall message has been misrepresented but you can not argue with the laws of the land he supports and the treatment and lack of tollerence on diversity of his fellow humans.

The Government has criticised Channel 4's decision to broadcast an Alternative Christmas Message by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said the invitation by the broadcaster to the hard-line leader would cause international offence.

An FCO spokeswoman said: "President Ahmadinejad has during his time in office made a series of appalling anti-Semitic statements. The British media are rightly free to make their own editorial choices, but this invitation will cause offence and bemusement not just at home but amongst friendly countries abroad."

The decision to allow Ahmadinejad to deliver the Alternative Christmas Message on Thursday night has already angered human rights campaigners, Israelis and politicians.

Mr Ahmadinejad's anti-Western rhetoric and views on Israel and homosexuality have strained international relations between Iran and the West. The broadcast will go out at 7.15pm.

Campaign groups attacked the broadcaster's decision to air the speech, as "dangerous" and motivated by ratings.

Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor said: "In Iran, converts to Christianity face the death penalty. It is perverse that this despot is allowed to speculate on the views of Jesus, while his government leads Christ's followers to the gallows."

Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell joined the attack, and called on the broadcaster to "pull the plug on this criminal despot, who ranks with Robert Mugabe, Omar al-Bashir of Sudan and the Burmese military junta as one of the world's most bloody tyrants".

Stephen Smith, director of the Holocaust Centre, said the message should be treated with caution. He said: "I think this benign message is deceptive. People need to be alert to the fact that this is a wolf in sheep's clothing."

Actually those you describe as Ahmadinejad sympathisers are neutral and do not necessarily accept the conventional descriptions presented by our governments.

While you may deride Ahmadinejad as making anti Western rhetoric, I would argue that he makes rebuttals to incitements, misinformation and threats made against his nation. It would be a mis-characterisation to assume that taking an objective view on geopolitical dynamics forming as we debate here as evidence of tolerance of what may happen in Iran at the hands of the Iranian government.

Examples of incitement by others includes Israel's repeated requests that the US attack Iran. Another is Rose Flemings repeated publications of Mohammed cartoon; incidentally Rose is a Jew and a jobbing editor who has a habit of initiating cartoon competitions involving ridiculing Islam where ever he finds employment. Ahmadinejad's response was a conference and cartoons examining the Holocaust.

An example of the mis-information peddled by Ahmadinejad detractors include the untruth that he said Israel should wiped out when in fact he said the regime in control of Israel should be erased from the pages of history, to paraphrase him.

Finally, Iran has never invaded another country and has found the US at its door step and a belligerent Israel agitating for a conflict and targeting Iran's interests in the region.

The bottom line is that Iran is very far away from us, has never threatened our countries, was well contained until the Iraq invasion and is subjected to the prospect of an annihilation probably like Iraq.

Despite our dislike of the Iranian regime, Ahmadinejad has done nothing less than any leader is expected to in the interest of his authority.

this is a hideous staging, denial of the holocaust, aproval of thousands of uprooted and persecuted christians, and he has the audacity to come on to our tv, and make these supposed benign statements, even worse that channel four shall invite him so,

this is shameful

channel 4 should not be partly funded by us the taxpayer

despite what neutral drabble people want to write hear, about him defending himself from supposed slander, as if such slander was unfair or inaccurate it its accusations, we are judged by our fruit, let him speak, his fruit says otherwise

and also, claiming that he didnt actually say that israel should be wiped of the map and "paraphrasing" his speech as wiping israel from the pages of history,

whats the difference? he wants all jews out of israel! he funds terrorist groups who reteadly attack israel! how should this be somehow acceptable?

All governments are corrupt, Iran included. However, it is completely and outrageously hypocritical for any Western government to criticize Iran for doing anything at all, because okay so say Iran kills its citizens arbitrarily... lines them up and shoots them for one reason or another.

Well Western Corporate interests kill millions a year, but use loopholes in the law and propaganda and brainwashing to make people blissfully ignorant of the death the Corporations are selling, and therefore people are blamed for consuming the wrong things... yet nobody is stopping these heartless multinational conglomerates from SELLING the wrong things knowing full well that these things KILL PEOPLE. There's no real obvious warning. There's no death threats being made. There's just silent and subtle killing of millions per year quite arbitrarily, but decievingly sold as "good".

I would go so far as to say that this is much more evil than any crazed 3rd world dictator or death squad could ever be. This is a global monster which the West released upon the whole WORLD. GLOBAL GENOCIDE, and people are still transfixed by like "Oh this brown guy getting people riled up with speeches is EVIL!!!" while drinking cancer causing brain damaging diet soda and smoking carcinogenic filled cigarettes and supporting war i.e. the military industrial complex... which has killed probably billions since it went global...

but let's blame Iran and ignore the real problems, like giant Corporations, governments of any kind, dogmatic religions, separating ourselves completely from and destroying the natural world order....

Let's kill ourselves with complete dumb #ing ignorance. Here wait I'll lend all of you who want to spew hate speech about this person or that person or this country or that country a hammer, and you can just repeatedly bash yourselves in the head with it and save yourselves so much grief because at least then you'll be doing something for yourself.

Although I can see the point of view of misinformation on the part of the Iran president it does not take away from the fact he has expressed his Islamic apocalyptic vision. This involves a great deal of chaos and war to initiate the coming of the 12th Imam Mardi along with Jesus to wipe out the Jews, which is expressed in Islamic scripture. Put this on the same synchronicity of him obtaining nuclear material and long-range missiles from Russia and we see we have an explosive combination of results. But is he playing the clever game of purpose misinformation to create this atmosphere in the first place? In the end you can not deny what the Muslim religions of all Muslim countries really think about Jews anyway and the fundamentalist like the Mumbai terrorist will single out people of the Jewish religion because their own scriptures says so. Couple with Bible Prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and Psalms 83 and you will find that if a war with Iran has never occurred in 3000 years it will occur according Bible prophecy and this involves Russia, Iran and Syria who are more in together tied than ever before in history. One set of believers see this occurring as a prophecy that this war will happen while on the opposite end it seems like Iran want to stir up misinterpretation to incite war to full fill their own prophecies too.

It just sound too spooky and convenient that people are talking about this possible war since it was predicted as a prophecy many thousands of years ago and the Iranians do not even read the Bible and are blind of that prophecy of Ezekiel 38 anyway. The mirror image and timing as a first time event in history could never be more precise, that is the scary side of all this.

Well channel 4 once used a Muslim to do an alternative Chrismas message and it seems that this trend is just another talking point for ratings, but is it acceptable and that is why I made this post?

The cowards are on all sides of the political world it seems but war is about back up and taking sides, democratic countries will back each other up; Georgia recently is another recent example when democratic countries stick up for eah other. Iran like Pakistan would, out of honour have their own extremists supplying weapons against their enemies and causing terrorist situations while these countries stand by and let it happen unless there is international pressure. Guess why the Americans put pressure on Pakistan boarders with Afghanistan as permission to come fight the extremists. Since these warnings were not taken seriously we find the Mumbai attacks in India happening straight after let alone how many cross boarders attacks and how many weapons are being sent to Palestine all these years from various Islamic supporters.

In the end there is a deeper hidden agenda, which is Islamic supremacy to islamise the world according to their scriptures, and the more they believe this the less they will care about the dispensable non-believers along with populations growths which demand separate laws which eventually splits the country of its host, then forming war zones, this can be seen in many parts of the world. What we see is that the moderates will let the extremists do their expansion work for the sake of their religious growth which in turn brings intimidation to the people who boarder Islamic countries and even Western society where Islamic immigration sides a city become no go areas for non-Muslims. There is a pattern to this and Somalia is just another case on a big scale and I won’t show the research of the list of countries that have this problem just yet. I know the US is in Iraq but they are not forcing anyone to convert to Christianity or anything, but changing the country as a whole democratically so that the 3 divisions of people in that country can get along in a neutral setting under democracy which has to be better than Saddam’s regime once the mess has been sorted out.
