People Forgot About Oil

Remember when oil was running up everyday and it seemed like there was no end in sight? Remember when people were complaining about gas at the pumps, choosing gas or food?

Why aren't they talking about it now? It is more of a farce now than ever.


Do you now realize how much you were gouged? Do you realize what has happened? The commodity market bent you over and you took it. You will take it again.

Now is the time people need to stand up.

It is all a farce and there is no fair price. Why are we not talking about it now?

Its a delicate balancing act by TPTB. The prices are conveniently lower around Christmas time and now Joe Blow and Sally Six Pack have an extra 40 bucks a week they can spend on Tickle me Elmo and other worthless crap.

The low price of oil is one of the things keeping this mess of an economy afloat. If shipping companies, let alone any company that factors in the price of gas into there operating costs are suffering right now, imagine how worse off they would be having there troubles compounded with 4$/gal gas.

The best high oil price explaination i've heard so far came in one of the financial sites...(cannot recall just which one, but 'International Forecaster' sounds like it)



the oil speculation was brought about because the housing & MBS securities were in the very beginning of going sour,

and the big money & the thousands of broker/dealers started bidding the oil futures as the only remaining fertile ground to make Profits..


those investors with hidden knowledge of the forthcoming derivatives, CDOs, CDS, and other paper which were going to soon go ballistic to the downside
these savvy big money elites used oil futures to make money while the PPT was still intent on keeping Gold & PM in a fiscal cage for that time.


it may be a hind-sight observation (to make themslves look better?), but it still makes sense to my thinking...

Production of oil in the United States peaked in the early 70's.

This is a solid fact.

It has started peaking all over the world, and this is also a fact.

Once the recent bubble burst construction projects all over the world
were put on hold except for a few very wealthy spots.

New construction in the US and Europe fell greatly.

Per the Dept. of Energy and T. Boone Pickens per both of
their websites world oil production peaked around May of 2005.

With the reduction in purchasing came a reduction in shipping
of goods, and the economy of the world did stall partially due to
the high fuel costs.

We know how to grow our own oil from algae, but we will not do it.

idea and make it happen.
