Honestly, I do not support either of the boneheads that ran for president (Go Ron Paul!) But to be frank I have seen just as much disinformation and propaganda on BOTH sides of the debate.

I came to the question of his citizenship objectively and curious. I ran down every claim pro or con, starting with the article or blog and then looking at transcripts, laws, supporting evidence etc.

I quickly discovered that maybe 95% of the evidence in support of this "Obama the Kenyan" junk was ...edited, warped, changed, taken severly out of context to change the meaning and often flat out fabricated all to suit the propaganda.

I have seen nothing even near comparable from the camp disputing this junk. Just a lot of direct sources and independant evidence. If you have seen fabrications in support of his citizenship.....please direct me that way with a link or something. I'd be interested.

Also...When you say that you didn't support either candidate I believe you, but am unsure if I consider you a neutral observer since on the last page you said "I cannot stand the sight of Obama"....

I am sorry let make it a little more clear for you. I cannot stand either the site of Obama or McCain. Is that better? And at one time I did like Obama, I just got sick of his lying, not that they all do not do this, but his was real evident. He did not know about Rev. Wright, He did not know about his aunt, he did not know about the black panther guy, he did not know about the corrupt real estate guy in Chicago. It was at that point I decided that he must not know anything. McCain on the other hand although I admirer his service record, is an idiot and honestly doesn't know anything. Therefore I do not support either. I hope that you understand my position a little better now.

Also I was not referring to YOU specifically when I stated there is disinformation on both side, I am merely stating that I have seen it on both sides of the debate.

I also have a question, if he does in fact have a legitimate BC, why would he spend all the time and money involved if the case did get heard? Wouldn't it just be easier to provide it? Unless of course he don't know about that either.

I do not want to engage you in a fight, and if you in fact looked at this in a non-biased manner kudos to you; that however, is not the natural tendency of human nature and that is the point I was trying to make. I apologize that you took it personal and decided that because you thought it was directed at you, that you must in turn try to make me look biased, when in fact as I said, I do not support either of these boneheads.

Please tone down the mudslinging!

The nastiness is getting "over the top." If you can't discuss the issue calmly, then participate in a discussion on a board where emotional outbursts are encouraged.

Lets say he was not not born in the U.S. Did he know? I would think so. But I don't remember being born, and as far as I know, I was... The law you have to be born in the U.S. seems to me at least 200 years out of date. The constitution has been amended in the past as the result of the people expresssing an over-riding revulsion to percieved injustice The courts have changed the constitution in their interpretation of the current constitution, and that interpretation has changed over time. But I see Obama as the best person for President now bar none, and a lot of people feel this way. ( Hey, he's already on plates and coins for God sake and he's not even in office yet! By the time he's sworn in, he'l be on peoples dashboards...) No question this is a very thorny issue, and people will be pissed no matter what. I just hope he is sworn in. And stays untill 2012. After that, we will decide if he keeps his job.

I don't know who the heck Obama is,why?I don't think the powers that be want us to know;but in good time we will.I really don't think it matters in the long run;like learning about "Santa Claus"the truth will surfface when we cannot or care not to do anything about it;like now.The constitution, starving people, genocide, wars, fiat money.Who cares about honesty and freedom any more?Who cares about living and giving good family values to our children?I find myself a minority and am being discriminated for demanding truth and if I do not get it I find Obama has no "standing" to be my leader and chief!

I know who Obama is and he is my commander in chief and I stand by him because he has standing to me. I don't see why anyone would question him as commander in chief unless they're racist. Seriously, you've tried the Obama is a socialist, the Obama is a communist, Obama is racist, Obama is a Muslim, and you've tried the Obama is a terrorist card. Now you just don't want him President so you make up an idea that he isn't a US born citizen. Pathetic people.

He is CINC after inauguration, not before.....Interesting that he has reneged on his campaign promise about middle east troop withdrawals....Maybe after his Presidential briefing? Maybe the world appears different now......Welcome to reality, Barack....

This website is not a Court of Law. No, no one needs to provide irrefutable proof of anything. People are allowed to have "thoughts" and "opinions" and "gut feelings" without providing beyond-a-reasonable-doubt scientific evidence. For example, I believe you have a brain. It is my opinion you have a brain. I even think you have a heart. But I certainly can't prove on this forum that you have either a brain or heart.

Do you have any evidence that he has spent ANY money on this matter? Someone else kept saying he'd spent a million dollars on three law firms, but I have yet to see any proof of that.

You don’t have to prove anything here, but why should a Court of Law hear a case based on hearsay and ‘opinions’?

I’m all for people sharing their thoughts and giving their opinions, but that doesn’t entitle people to act like they are owed something because of their opinions.

This sounds like a challenge or an instigation attempt from either an agent, or a NWO trooper/flag bearer. Pathetic, in two sentences or less. My weapons are at the end of my arms, and legs. I carry them all the time.

Are you asking me this question or is this a rhetorical question? Because you snipped the most important part - and point of my post. I was merely commenting on someone who insisted that if you are posting anything *on this website* you should have proof to back it up. I simply stated, no, sorry, you don't need scientific proof to have an opinion, believe, gut feeling on this website. As far as a Court of Law, of course you should have something more than just opinions. I would assume those presenting things to the SCOTUS do have something more tangible than word-of-mouth. But that was not the point of my particular original post.

Bush is our current commander in chief. He's white. I'm white. I not only question Bush as commander in chief, but I think he's an absolute [fill in the blank with any curse word here]. So does that make me racist since I question Bush? I still don't get why the race card even comes out with Obama in anything. He's 50% white. He's 50% black. A white person can't be racist against Obama because he's actually half white. A black person can't be racist either, because Obama's half black. I guess a blue Smurf can be racist against Obama, since they obviously are of a different skin tone, but they're too happy smoking their mushrooms to hate anyone.

Just because this is a conspiracy website doesn’t mean every section of ATS has the same ‘rules’. This isn’t posted in Political Conspiracies, or any other place, this is in Breaking News Alternative.

This also happens to be a thread pertaining to a lawsuit and the Supreme Court, so this is a legal issue. As I’ve stated, I have no problem with people sharing their thoughts and giving their opinions, but what does that have to do with this legal matter?

For a lawsuit to be heard by the Supreme Court it needs to have merit, personal opinions are irrelevant.

Yes, it’s fine to think Obama was born in Kenya or whatever, just don’t act like hearsay and personal opinions are legal arguments worthy of being heard by the Supreme Court. And that is what this thread is about.
