Wikipedia page censored in the UK

The online watchdog, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), has withdrawn its objection to a Wikipedia page that contained an image of a naked girl.

The IWF now says that given the age and availability of the image, it was no longer on its list of proscribed sites.

In a album titled "Virgin Killer" with a naked young girl in a seductive pose, it's pretty offensive..
I personally don't give a crap, cause I've never even heard of the band.
I do think it's wrong, and wonder if people will be persecuted over this.

Then if you own the album will there be legal implications on you?
If you liked the band, does that make you a pedo?

Its one of those bands that you've probably heard some of their songs, just never knew who did it.

I am a fan of Scorpions, does that make me a pedofile? From what I have heard the girl on the cover had parental consent and it was done as per local law. I think it's a bit stupid for people to bring it to the forefront NOW!

it's not porn- nor is it horrible. Perhaps to a sick mind it might be; but to a perverted person many things become perverse.

I think the album cover and it's message are beautiful.

No one is making you look at it, so if it's offensive to you; deal with it.

There are a lot of things i find offensive in this world. I don't go around effacing them from the planet.

I think they are using this to set examples of things to come. I think they are testing out the waters. Seeing how far they can go, and getting ready for bigger filters that they want to implement later.

Give them an inch and they may well take a yard.
