what's the use of typing up a storm to post anonymously and then for it not to show up in the thread? I say, just let it be posted then censor words out if you must but not the entire post for crying out loud

Because I'm pretty sure Anonymous posts are reviewed by the ATS staff prior to posting. If they deem it unworthy due to violations in the Terms & Conditions or perhaps it just doesn't add anything to the thread it gets dropped.

With that said, having a (bad) habit of surfing anonymous image boards that I won't care to mention here, free anonymous posting allows for some obscene immaturity to run rampant on the internet.

All in all, if you have something you feel terribly compelled to say, you might as well just log on and say it.
