Funny how the CIA/NSA/FBI/NAVY/ECT ECT.

They are the ones who write up the terrorism "drills" They are the ones who also carry the "drills" out.

Like I said earlier unless this changes you guys will rot in hell.

But I do feel you guys can change. God always forgives if you confess.

Hmmm... I simply do not get why the million men police force can't handle this job.

It's simply scary to see assholes with .40 caliber automatics strolling in front of your local convenience store.

OK, I occasionally lurk here because it is interestin to hear what some have to say. On this topic, I feel compelled to chime in.

Anyone who thinks this is a good idea is clearly stupid, brainwashed and unaware of potential dangers. I almost want to quit writting now because it is sooo stupid to agrgue with unintelligent poeple.

I am all for our soldiers helping out on our streets to contol crime and drugs, our borders, etc. but this is clearly not the case. The government is preparring for social unrest of the general population. With all the baby boomers getting ready to retire (broke) and the economy crashing, people will not be able to feed themselves or family.

The government is clearly preparring to enact martial law although it will likely be called something else.

When people cannot get food or afford health care for their dying children, things will get very bad on the street. The only way to avoid this catastrophe is to re-establish our governement (highly unlikely) in a more socialist fashion where taxes pay for retirement and health care, you know, like Canada, France, Germany and the UK.

And by the way, if you think about the terrible life your children may have to live becasue of the greedy lying politicians inability or unwillingness to fix Anything, I mean anything, it should make you sick to your stomach.

TO SET SOME OF OUR PERSPECTIVES IN YOUR SIGHTS

I really respect your appreciation for us soldiers but as a representative of the american public I should shed some light on the fact that personal security through education is most important. I have spent a lot of time in my career asking important people questions and trying to get to the bottom of this because the last thing I would want is for our own country to fall into subversion by anyone but the mass that makes the decisions in our democracy.

The truth is a good 60% of the people I have met in my career are fearing and asking questions because of just that. I'm an Army medic and I have spent some time around the Ranger Indoctrination Program and a lot of people with a pretty good idea of whats going on. The problem is no one under the generals level or higher would have knowledge of any of this. We just obey orders and try to piece together what little info we are allowed to learn to come up with the truth. My grandfather was also a freemason so my life has been on this crazed roadtrip of trying to find the truth to help those in need. Thats my life as an active duty soldier. As well as 60% or so of the soldiers here who actually give a # about people and not the paycheck. I wont say the theories are supported with good evidence but I will say that some things are better known than just allowing the idea to surprise you. Your world is not peaceful and people are very easily influenced by words that seem marketable. Learn everything you can about both sides because people depend on those who care.

I send my respects to all the patriots trying to make sense of this confusing world to help the whole. Us soldiers also rely on the mental support of webpages like this so keep the good minds building the answers to these puzzles.

- PFC Bryant

P.S. Educating yourselves on any material is most intelligent because you never know what kind of doors it could unlock.

Im confused about your million men police force..Im going to think you mean that the already in place law enforcement that protects and enforces laws in their state?..so I will say that its not enough to deal with a large scale disaster in my opinion and if this was to come to fruition then so be it, We cannot stop it. I think the guy from Philly, Devildog said he wouldnt mind troops patrolling the streets and I agree with him especially since I am from Philly, AKA Killadelphia which needs all the help it can get. If you have nothing to hide and your a law abiding citizen then whats the big deal?..Dont give me that constitution crap because nobody really respects it anymore and it is a shame because thats what our forefathers fought for. The only thing we can do is go about our daily lives and wait and see.....oh and most automatic weapon ammo is 223..40. Cal is most likely for your sidearms although some MP-5's have a variant in 40 cal....Just to keep you informed...

It's Very sad Most American's " atleast the one's talk to" don't want to talk about the way their own Government is Duping Them. This Duping of the People goes way back to the Amelia Earheart Day's, and Has continued.Sad thing is that it is Probaly Alot worse then Any of Us can Imagine.

To put 20,000 military men into perspective:

NYC police department has something like 37,000+ sworn officers.

I am going to guess and say that 20,000 trained soldiers could take and hold a very large city in the United States if properly supported.

Anyone disagree?

Is it just me or does this planning ahead demonstrate prior knowledge of a coming attack or complete economic collapse or maybe even a decision made by the government that the public won't like very much?

This is kind of scary, even if it is in 2 years.

Well in my humble opinion and my opinion only. I think 20,000 is not enough unless its 20,000 light infantry forces with equipment and that would mean you would have 20,000 infantrymen patrolling the streets but there is always support personnel that is always included when a reaction force is deployed so that 20,000 grunts now becomes 3500 to 5000 grunts to try and keep order along with state and city/local PD, Could be feasible..Im not one for doing much arguing on these threads because I respect mostly all the members opinions but I dont have to agree with their opinions which is nice also but I said earlier and another member who served in the military would not mind american troops patrolling the streets, some of our cities need help and if and its a big if but we were subjected to N.B.C attacks the police would need some help to try and preseve life and keep order...

You make a good point Total and some free thinkers may suspect something is coming and is going to happen but I see it as a chance to get troops out of Iraq and station them on the border where we need them....

Yes that is something good to come of them bringing the troops home so no more will die over there in vain. And we probably do need to secure our borders. But doesn't Barack Obama want more troops in Afghanistan? It seems to me if they were going to bring troops back from Iraq they'd just send them over to Afghanistan instead of stationing them at home.

I'm not even going to pretend to understand military strategy and necessity but we have the national guard as someone said earlier, why bring combat forces back to police the states?

Have you ever gotten angry over anything you don't care about? I think you mistake a concern for our country, it's constitution and the transparency of government for a hatred of America. I assure you, you cannot be further from the truth. I would further suggest that it is you whom does not love this country if you condone some of the actions taking place. A lot of us here have indeed fought for this country and suffered injury in that venture and I am certain they take exception to what your saying. As for being sick of what is allowed to be discussed here, I have a suggestion, open your own discussion board and feel free to make your own rules. One of the things that has always irritated me in life is when people come into something they have no ownership in, have not invested one single penny in, and then think they have some sort of governing rights over the organization. Everyone seems hell bent on making the rules and being a big shot but never ever seem to wish to part with some of their federal reserve notes to help. Have you ever donated any money to make this a better site? If not, what makes you think you have any rights what so ever to legislate protocol?

As for the soldiers coming home I welcome that, although I absolutely do not approve of them being involved in law enforcement. The army is a broad sword to quote Bruce Willis it's purpose is not to police but to fight on a broad scale. The police force is more of a scalpel it is designed and trained to deal with small scale events and policing actions. And by small scale I mean as much as a city's worth of people, not another country's military forces. But when the crap hits the fan as most of us suspect it will, the question is who do you want here, our military or the U.N.'s? Personally I would have expected the exact opposite action. If in fact we heading towards a one world government as many of us fear, I would imagine that our own forces would be less likely to rape, pillage and abuse Americans as opposed to a U.N. force. That's why I do not quite understand this move. The U.N. forces would obey their commands blindly as there is no personal attachment, whereas many American soldiers if not all of them would refuse to take part in harming American citizens. The only thing that would seem to make sense is that someone knows more about 2012 than we do and they are taking steps to ensure chaos does not ensue. But that is just my opinion.

Even though it is strictly forbidden by the constitution? Think what you are saying. Sure I totally understand wanting to be with your family. I really do! However, the military needs to stop being Robots and start thinking for themselves. I know they are trained to think for themselves and I also know they get contridictions in the chain of command, as half say, THINK FOR YOURSELF and the other half say DO WHAT YOUR TOLD! DONT THINK!

Please, if you really are in the military, THINK! Get a copy of the constitution and read it. This action is Illegal. You do not want the FEDERAL GOV in charge of the military doing a domestic mission. That is what the Governors are for and what the National Guards are for.

Think Think Think. You took and oath and are obligated to up hold the constitution.

20,000 really isn't that much for the whole country. But like others have said its just the beginning. We'd all get really suspicious if they suddenly said they need to surge uniformed troops into the homeland. Its not like we haven't seen our armed military in our airports before...

Why do we have a NATIONAL GUARD if they aren't going to be used to guard the freaking nation? Why do we need to use combat troops to do the job of the national guard while they are out doing the job of the combat troops? How does this make any sense?

Forseen Martial Law under a Fascist State. Thats how it makes sense. You are correct.

only 20,000? that is roughly 1 soldier for every 15000 Americans. take into account that half the population will go willingly, that still 1 for every 7,500. sounds outnumbered to me. of course i suck at math so please feel free to correct me.

Evidentally the focus is now on Afghanistan again, Our guys are doing a great job there in Iraq training the ING but I am still mad that we are even there but Im not making the orders...I have some time spent in Afghanistan and its just a terrible country to operate in, Its a natural fortress with miles of deep caves and very high mountains and harsh temperatures and we are fighting holy warriors that know that terrain and bring the fight to us, Ive seen and heard of small patrols getting attacked by AQ and Taliban who wear wearing sandals and shalwar kameezes brandishing an ak-47 and an rpg strapped to his back, I have to say I respect them and they will not go away but we only have certain soldeirs who can operate in that terrain, The Marines do just fine but alot of coventional army units cannot handle that terrain and its no respect to the grunt at all, It takes some months of serious training to get a soldier conditioned to become a special operations soldier ready to fight in A-Stan and even the most fit of special operators have been caught sucking wind up there in the mountains so the number of troops that is ready and available is hampered in my own opinion.

I would love to get the National Guard back stateside so they can fortify the borders and help with any natural or man made disasters that may come....

The argument that home deployment is ok because it gives you more time with the wife is BS. A standing Army is as much an act of war by the US on her Citizens as is an act by terrorists/ revolutionaries/ militias themselves could do. And the parking of a tank on American streets will likely as not be met with force. Americans tolerate quite a bit more than we're given credit for. Often times we are seen as greedy, anything for power and a buck- types by a host of outside countries simply because our tolerance is seen as complicity to the crimes of our military/ beaurocratic/ Corporate/ Industrial complex both here and abroad. But we are in no way the cowards we may appear to be. A standing Army is a traitor army. An oath to defend agains t all enemies- even Domestic is the oath of all military. ALL. And if a repeat of the King's British Army isn't the act of a wolf in sheep's clothing, then what is. Justify it all you want. I say irradicate the threat before it becomes a tool of oppression by tyrants.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:
For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences
For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments:
For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
