In case of national emergency, FEMA takes full control of the area in disaster, superceding the power of the commander-in-chief. I see this more as an outlet for the background men(the shadow government) than a new world order but it bears looking into.

Indeed, no one should have more power than the commander in chief. I dont want private organizations deciding what will happen in the area I live in.

Even if my other choice is an unprepared/incompetent president (obama/bush).

Well it's nothing new. The presidential position hasn't had control in over a hundred years, no use in starting now.....
