Dan Abrams, the chief legal correspondent for NBC News and former cable news host with MSNBC has formed his own consulting company. This is so blatant and a slap in the face to the American public. If he is successful in his endeavor, and I don't doubt he he won't, be prepared for more propaganda

Frankly, I find it troubling that a former higher up at one of the major news networks doesn't appear to grasp the problem with turning journalists into corporate shills.

Journalists for sale

Alan Murray, executive editor, The Wall Street Journal: "This is about as clear a violation of our conflict of interest rules as I can imagine. Journalists shouldn't be advising companies about how to game their own organization."

There is a very interesting back and forth discussion on the prwatch website between the author and Abrams. Abrams becomes very defensive and the name calling is hilarious.
