I was reading the thread about Bush's Alien War, and followed this link;

Browsing down the list, I came across this entry for 28-30th April 2005:-

"Apr 28-30 — Space Access Society, Phoenix AZ: 'Space Access '05 Conference: Still A Long Hard Road Ahead;' one session on the process of turning the new Commercial Space Transportation Law into practical regulations; another session on the new spaceports"

What law? passed by whom? when? What is all that about

Looks like in 2005 they were in the process of turning it into practical regulations....not a law passed already. Maybe it's passed already.

Dont worry I'm sure there'll be a country to claim the entire universe and we won't be able to leave earth unless we pay the toll.

I hope for humanities sake our space endevours are not privatized or for profit by corporations.
