I tried to swing off of a Pirate Ship and fell the equivalent of two stories...(alcohol may have had something to do with it... and spent a few weeks on crutches...

So, uh, yeah...don't go falling out of any more windows......and get well soon!

I used to work seasonally for the Renaissance Faire and in Northern California, we built a Pirate Ship. Really, just a facade, but for us behind the scener's there was a fully functional three story hang out area...including the deck. One night, in our alcoholic glory, we tied a rope to the deck and people started swinging down to the ground.

I decided to follow suit.

I ended up letting go at the last moment...

Ended up with a very bruised hip and couldn't walk the next morning, despite the fact that I walked just fine after I landed that night...pain was brutal though...

Not very exciting...just drunk people doing stupid things...

Yet when the hospital asked me if I drank, my responce was a wee bit off the truth... only 3 TVR's = 1 litre vodka...

The thing about drunk people is that when they are on the dashboard cameras doing those field sobriety tests, it can be some of the funniest things you will ever see or hear on the camera. Runken drivers trying to walk that straight line is a site to see though.
