www.washingtontimes.com

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Bush administration is considering taking ownership stakes in a number of U.S. banks as one option it might use to deal with a serious credit crisis, an administration official said Wednesday.

I suppose this is the birth of socialized banking ?
Just another step to complete slavery.

I was talking with a co-worker about this same subject just
1 week ago and commented that this might happen considering the steps our wonderfully led constitutionally based government has taken to enslave citizens of the U.S.
and they had replied that they would not be surprised and completely agreed with me.
Fellow ATS'ers sound off and give me some opinions.

With world governments now taking over banks, it really is worrying how much
more of our personal information that they will have access to legally.

How much we spend, what we spend it on.
Our spending saving habits.
How much cash we could withdraw if ever we needed to go off the grid in an
emergency.
Hell , they could even freeze funds to stop us doing just that.

I find the prospect of governments controlling my personal money chilling.

It makes you wonder if the whole financial crisis wasn't orchestrated for just this reason.

news.yahoo.com...

I guess the new rule is "when things get bad, the government takes over and starts owning you."

A government employee was condescendingly posting in an eavesdropping thread just a few minutes ago, and he had the nerve to say that it's for our own good, and we shouldn't be concerned if we've got nothing to hide. Try telling that to us when the banks and the corporations now run the country right out in the open for everyone to see. Imagine how all of these lovely criminals treat little furry animals in labs and livestock farms and destroy the environment and manipulate the American and World people... and then imagine these mother#ers doing anything for our own good.

Just you wait until this site gets overrun with government stooges telling you there's nothing to any of this.

"You don't NEED to see our agenda..."

"You can go about your business..."

"Move along..."

With the wave of their hands...

Too bad we're not dealing with Jedis here.

I guess this is a little off post. Mods you can delete this if it's too off topic.

Oh yeah. I get it now.

Own our bank now... the NWOs biggest push of all.

Don't do it... when you buy stock for ownership.. what happens..
the stock goes down.

The FED owns the government and now the government owns our
banks... and the worth of the banks go down.

Easy way to get the depressive credit nuts off our backs and
out of the Illuminati news services.

Pay them off with blood money.

Blood Sweat and Tears Money.
White House considers ownership stakes in banks

Kick that fruit cake out of the Treasury.
And get rid of Bush and his cronies.
