I don't see anything wrong with housing being affordable.

Nor do I, but when liberals say “affordable housing”, what they mean is loans to anyone who can breath to buy houses they can’t afford.

The same thing that led us to our current situation.

Your own VP nominee said Obama was not qualified to be president.

Is this not what competing candidates do? say that the others are not qualified. What was said in the primaries holds no baring once the real presidential race begins. McCain just picked a nobody to be his running mate, so there could be no sound bites/vid caps of his VP running mate dissing on him. McCain does a good enough job of making himself look bad...he needs no help in that department.

It does not mean that.

Feel free to read up on the issue:

en.wikipedia.org...

...and also how Palin is palling with violent radicals, which does not get much attention in MSM.

How about I not. There is plenty of info. out here in cyberspace...you can choose to educate yourself or not....but I'm not your teacher and am not here to give selective bits of info. to try and sway you. You choose however you wish, but McCain/Palin IS a losing ticket and history will clearly show that in less than 1 month.

What kind of answer is that??? I want to know all the great things he's done.
Please, make a compelling case to me. You are so eager to defend him. Well show me all of his experience and great things he's done. I'm sure he's done some "Change i can believe in." So lets see it.

It's the answer you get. You want to know great things....the EDUCATE yourself. I'm not defending him either...just supporting him! There's a major difference.

Why don't you go defend McCain and him selling out his fellow countrymen under the pressure of torture while a POW. That is frowned upon by military standards....and that was just the beginning of McCain being a sellout! Again, go EDUCATE yourself and quit asking for someone to come teach you. I guess that's the difference between aomeone with a highschol education (you) vs. someone with a University education (me) is that university taught individuals learn hot to educate themselves, because you are only going to get a fraction of the content in lectures (i.e., the media)...you MUST take it upon yourself to be educated and make an fully informed decision.

You just walked into a minefield my friend. You're ignorance is astounding.

Good luck to you.

You did exactly what i thought you would do. You came up with nothing. But yet you can type out a whole paragraph flaming McCain. No, it's not your job to prove to me what he's done. It's only your job to blindly support Obama no matter what. You are supporting this man and you have no idea what he's done. Why? You know what, don't answer that. You already proved your ignorance.

Sorry, i had to reply...back on topic please.

Along with more than 50% of america. How does it feel to be in the minority....errr...ummm...you probably have been your whole life....so never mind answering it....since you would never figure out on your own that it is a rhetorical question.

Thanks for that. I hope what you say isn't true. I hope the majority of the public doesn't vote for anyone they know NOTHING ABOUT. i really hope that you think more than 50 percent of the people in this country WHO VOTE actually know some background on WHOM they are voting for. Nice roundabout way of insulting everyone in one big swipe.

I don't see anything wrong with housing being affordable. In some areas it's all but impossible to get. What happens as a result you have apartments CRAMMED with illegal immigrants who take over the local job market, because the rest of us won't live like that.

And that is the way Republicans want us to be -- impoverished slaves.

Again, Palin is palling with a radical and potentially violent group in Alaska.
Affordable housing is zelch compared to that.

Oh come on. How do you plan to have more affordable housing? Put price freezes in effect? Have the contractor not make a profit? Build it out of cheap materials? Oh I guess we could always have the government give food and housing to a bunch of people to build houses for free. See where this is going? Straight to Communism.

Wait, wait. Doesn't that work both ways? The way it seems on this board is that it is fine to defame Obama's name, but rarely does anyone go to great lengths against McCain (Palin has gotten attention on here though).

So, I really don't follow you on that. I think the truth lies between that people are going to great lengths, ridiculous at that, to get run the opposing candidate's name in the mud.

call him a Socialist all day long.

seriously, i love how people throw words around that have bad meanings attached to them due to past events within that country or society. where as in a different nation, being called or considered a socialist would be a great thing and help win you an election. then there are nations which are the opposite, like the USA, that demonizes anything with the word socialist in it.

socialism is not bad, in fact ... DEMOCRATIC socialism is IDEAL. We currently live under Democratic Captialism, where as countries such as Canada, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Spain live in what would be considered a Democratic Socialism. I'd love to live in any one of those countries, they're all quite nice places to live.

socialism does not equal soviet union, nor republic of china. The Soviet Union was a Fascist Socialism, and China is a hybrid Fascist Capito-socialism. Notice the word FASCIST present in both? Yes, I know im probably spelling it wrong lol, I don't care though.

but anyways, theres a bunch of countries in Europe and South America which have progressive, democratic, socialist systems that I personally would love to live under; the quality of life is so much better, and so many more things are free. I have friends that live in Canada, Jamaiica, Venezuela and Europe woom I've spoken with extensively about these things, and indeed .. the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence. I hate to break it to everyone, heck even I would tell myself that it couldn't be true .. until I found out firsthand that living in the USA is not the best, it is not even close to the best standards of living.
