Is our beloved website turning into a totalitarian dictatorship?
It seems that more and more of us are being banned for violating the all sovereign 'T&C'.
All too many of us are proud to declare our alliance in 'denying ignorance', but these days I have to think twice before posting a reply or thread, as I am always weary of being warned or banned.
Can I not even say what's on my mind anymore?

Screw you ATS.

Why not just say whats on your mind in a polite and civil manner?

I just read the Terms and Conditions and it just looks to me like all I have to do is speak to people on here like I would to anyone in real life and I'm ok...

Isn't your last comment indicative of what the "crackdown" is all about?

Well, got to agree that some of the 'better' members have been banned lately.
And it does seem to becoming a tadge more P.C.

I also think it's fair to say that there have been some pretty blatant transgressions of T&C recently and some pretty inane and insulting posts.

It must be very hard to police a site like this and the 3 Amigo's and their staff have my utmost repect for doing what must be a very hard job.

Unfortunately, some of us feel in the drive to become more succesful ATS is loosing some of the better members who have committed so much to ATS's success.

I don't think that encouraging politeness is becoming totalitarian, really.

It's about making sure that ATS stays one of the top forums out there without descending into the madness and off-topic nonsense that exists on so may other so-called 'conspiracy' forums.

Peace,

MGGG

When you have issues with ATS, there are two methods of alerting us to them.

1. hit the complaint button.
2. post in the ATS Issues Thread

as such, this thread is now closed.
