Did ATS exist in 1969

Yes I want to know the answer, because, while I was browsing through the profile of some memebers and came across a profile of a member named johnlear, I get the information that he registered on December 31, 1969, and even is name his not visible in the avatar region and only in the members region.

I dont know but my guess would be a Test Profile?
Otherwise its kinda strange.

I dont think it is a test profile, ats has its own information account profile, then why should they test on a new profile.

AL Gore existed at that time, but I am pretty sure he was heavy into the reefer and not technology.

Excuse me that interview was this year and he joined ats three years ago that makes it 2005 and this johnlear seems to be different from our john lear.

How does he seem different? theres nothing in his profile.
The john im talking about seems like the logical choice.

Its all in the name, the person you are mentioning is John Lear and he is johnlear, a small but absolute evidence, and even if he was banned, his threads should have been visible.

I agree with a anonymous poster that some mods might have changed the data in the SQL server.

Even I couldnt see that in the main page, but when you are typing the reply and you scroll down the page to view the replies for verification you can see that post

Well considering BBS's were all the rage decades after the advent of the internet, I doubt ATS was fully operational in 69

1969 was the first time we faked a moon landing, maybe it has something to do with that?

Hmm, I would say that NASA didnt fake the moon landing and it was real, based on the photographic evidence which was impossible to fake at that time
