Sure why not, I personally do it like this:

Our Obama
who art in D.C.
hallowed be thy name
thy kingdom is commie
thy will be done
on earth as it is in Cuba
Give us this day our daily ration
and forgive us our comrades
as we envy those who have more than us
Lead us into socialism
and deliver us from capitalism

Brothers...can I get an Amen?

I didn't see anything about prayer in that video.

It was children singing about hope, love, change, peace and other wonderful ideals that someone believes Obama can help with.

There's another Obama song in my signature.
Song about Mandela
Song about Martin Luther King
Raisin' McCain
Here's Hillary Clinton's (Lead us, Guide us, You're the one, the power, we believe...)

And a fantastic one about John McCain

What's the problem?

You don't see anything weird about singing to a politician? I'd never even consider it about a British politician.

It's the kind of thing kids used to do to Hitler.

Most people don't see anything wrong with the STATE, they see the STATE as a benevolent entity, as the mandatory provider of FOOD, SHELTER, AND CLOTHING...they are blind to the Wars, Death, Destruction, Theft, and Removal of liberties. They would rather blame the individuals in the State as culpable (Bush, Hitler, Stalin) rather than understanding that the STATE itself was the apparatus that enforced these actions.

Individual evil people are nothing left to their own devices.

Individual evil people + The STATE = Creates the worst possible scenario.

They're not singing TO a politician. They're singing ABOUT themselves and him.

"We’re gonna spread happiness.
We’re gonna spread freedom.
Obama’s gonna change it.
Obama’s gonna lead ‘em.

We’re gonna change it
And rearrange it.
We’re gonna change the world"

Come on, you guys, you're really reaching here. What about all the songs about all the other people? What about Raisin' McCain? Aside from the "raisin" inference, why don't you object that that?

Singing someone's praises like that is still weird.

And forget the world, concentrate on America...cause the rest of the world has enough problems already.

My opinion? The difference is these are kids being used as mouthpieces for political propaganda. And that is wrong, regardless of who they're singing to or about.

There's another thread discussing the video here.

If you read what I wrote, I said it's wrong, regardless of whose propaganda is being pushed.

I thought only in countries like China, Cuba, Venezuela and Korea are kids actually forced to sing to their leader.
Hey wait a second, aren't these all communist countries?

Other children that have also sung for their leaders

I really can't believe in this "change".

You're right. Obama should really stop these children from singing about him... Right? Do they think they have the right to sing whatever they want or something?

Is that what you guys are trying to say? That somehow Obama is behind this? That he approves or even knows about it?

You are REACHING!

I find it downright creepy and would no matter who the object of affection was. If my child had been in that music class the teacher would have gotten an earful from me.

This election has got to be the most absurd display of worshipping a false messiah wannabe that I have ever witnessed and hope to ever witness. It's embarrassing and ridiculous. Our media is completely off its collective rocker. You'd think the NWO or whomever is behind this farce would at least TRY to be a tiny bit subtle about it. The fact that they aren't is pretty alarming.

I'd absolutely laugh myself silly if McCain pulled out a win after all their effort on Obama's behalf.

I'm sure Obama doesn't even give a rats fine arse about them kids, they are after all, all a mistake, but you fail or refuse to see the similarities between this and the singing kids in communist countries.
Check the link I provided. As innocent as this may be, I know to you this is nothing more than cute little kids singing their little hearts out, but me I am treating this as nothing more than a pre cursor and a sign of what is in store for this soon to be Socialist country.

Because I suggested the content of the song was imperialistic? Shocking. Censor me now, please.

I don't understand :|

There's no praying... to him, at him or at all. Wow.

Epic Smear Fail

Another non-issue being blown out to epic proportions.

Kids can sing about whatever potential or actual President they feel inspired by. Is there a little parental influence involved? I'm sure, but so what. They aren't worshiping Obama, they included his name in a song.

Whether it's propaganda or not that doesn't make the subject of the song Benito Mussolini.

No one is praying to Obama.
Give me a break, and stop the drama-queen approach.

They have songs about Hillary and McCain too.
And?
