Happy Patriot Day ?

As i stumbled into the kitchen, barely awake, this morning ... i took a glace at the calendar on the way to the coffee maker. Sept 11th was labeled "Patriot Day", confused i took a second longer gaze in my haze, curious i took a look at my desk calendar and sure enough "Patriot Day". I found this a bit oddly eery being that we have the "Patriot Act" and "Patriot Missile" all thanks to this "Patriot Day".

So... what do i say... Happy Patriot Day?

Not quite like our "Independence Day"... we were all winners that day.
But "Patriot Day" ?... where are the winners among us.
Those who own the likes of Halliburton or Blackwater stock &/or a big oil mutual fund. Maybe if you are a zionist you feel a special kinship to our grossly misdirected cause there. And any lobbyist whose interests are materialized due to the same ends.

I look upon this day as a marker...
seven solid years now...
and what have we gained?
Are we any wiser then we were last year?
Are the spinners getting more crafty in their spin?
Is the truth-movement picking up momentum...
or has it come to a stand still?

...and what i mean by "stand still" is...
from a big picture perspective...
are we just treading water or
as my favorite proverbial saying goes
"Worry is like a rocking chair. Keeps you busy; gets you nowhere."
just in this case, swap "worry" for "angst"

in reflection... when i consider all the solid research that has been done and excellent documentary work and distribution that has evolved over the past 7 years... i see plenty of steady progress has been made...
but when i come across so many myopic shallow narrow minded willfully ignorant people on the subject of 911 as well as on basic politics in general... my angst turns to worry.

...and i'm left with the realization that i have been
"...busy ...getting nowhere"

Hmmmm maybe an auto rejection from the get-go would have been nice .

As for this thread... i guess everyone is on the fence on this one?

Though i think it's fair to say... any new awareness among public figures, even if it's a little, shows significant progress, especially when they show enough courage to stick their necks out. For this is one loop hole in the corporate mass media, when it comes to entertainment news there are less filters, for when a celebrity talks everybody listens.
