THE source of strange lights spotted over Worthing's skies has been exposed by the police helicopter crew.
Tarring locals reported seeing the police helicopter "chasing" the lights on Saturday night (August 23) in what they believed to be dramatic contact with an unidentified flying object.

Seems balloons,candles and lanterns are popping up everywhere in the UK nowadays causing a mass influx of sightings.

Just how fast are these balloons going if the helicopter is 'chasing' them?

Maybe they're a new type of balloon that have a small engine attached and can keep a candle alight at high altitude and speed
