The largest naval deployment since 1991 is unfolding as no less than three U.S. warships make their way towards the Persian Gulf in what observers are calling an “unprecedented” build-up, while Kuwait has activated its highest war alert in anticipation of a potential attack on Iran.

The deployment has fueled rumors that Georgia’s sneak attack on Russia in South Ossetia, backed by the U.S. and Israel, was a shot across the bow to warn Russia against interfering in a strike on Iran which could be imminent.

This is serious, who knows how big of an armada is heading down there.

They are trying to blockade Iran, that is an act of war and the U.S are initiating it.

I hope that the rumors that Canada is also involved is nothing more than a rumor

Id like to see more official sources than prisonplanet...all these claims seem to be from bloggers or people know to lie,falsify things...like prison planet...

We aren't seperating ourselves from american hostility towards others and propoganda as much as we used to

I see a fairly big difference. We are losing what made us better than the united states

But yes, me also waiting for better source, however it may never come

Think there's already a couple of existing threads on this.

As a side note, the US has canceled the naval wargames it had planned with Russia due to the Georgian crises. Of course that suits the US perfectly as it doesn't want its forces tied up with that while there's a huge fleet on the way to the Gulf for a possible attack on Iran
