Do you think that Congress is allowing speculators to increase price of oil to

get support for building nuclear power plants? That is what many of them support to help with the problem of the price of oil, and the future scarcity of oil.

There was a law that the speculators could not run up the price on needed items for survival and oil was one of them, along with food.

Now we have gotten rid of the law, I think during Clinton's term, and now we are paying 3-5.00 depending on where you live for gas. Congress can put the old law back on the books and change this, but they have not done so.

There must be a reason for this, since they the Congress are getting some of the blame and it could affect re-election for many. So there must be a reason besides politics.
