Fox News Counts Down To 2012

I know i know, Fox news is the epitome of media controlled fear mongering, but what do you think of this?

It sounds a joke with the count down timer at the bottom of the screen.

I suppose they ran this story the way they did for same old reason, to instill fear?

probably also just to poke fun at/ ridicule the 2012 theorists, something like those politically incorrect magazine covers out lately. their intent could be ironic or hidden tho - softening the effect on the public as we come closer to the times
