Why does Channel 4 seem to be waging a war against the greens?

Ten years ago, his series Against Nature was found to have misled his interviewees about "the content and purpose of the programmes" and distorted their views "through selective editing". Now Ofcom has ruled that the programme he made last year — The Great Global Warming Swindle — treated two scientists and an organisation (the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) unfairly. For the second time, Channel 4 will have to make an embarrassing primetime statement.

This kind of seemed to be a good example of control of the media. Yes in this case it is stated the station will be making a statement about miss leading the public. So how many times does this happen with out it being caught or other wise found out?

The story about the documentary was highlighted in this forum yesterday here .

Well done for noticing a pattern, though. Do you think there is more to it than a commercial station courting controversy in order to increase viewing figures? I suppose the question is: who backed these documentaries?

The producer probably had a budget to work on from the station. What that was pointing out was the way the interviews were manipulated. That is what I think needs to be realized by the people who watch main stream media.
