I am sure this sounds so stupid, but my mind thought of this site after I finished watching the movie The Hills Have Eyes II. What does everyone think about that? Does anyone else believe that it is possible that people could have survived things of that nature, nuclear testing, radiation??? I don't think the cannibalism part is all that truthful, but it isn't really that farfetched, is it?

It's probably not to the extent of mutation, but certainly cancers, asthmas and blood disorders are rampant.

I grew up about 15 miles from the final assembly point of the nuclear weapons of this country. I would say conservatively that more than half of all the people I know, including my family, have cancer, MS, lupus, asthma/emphysema or bizarre blood disorders.

The government and EPA deny this, of course, but subjectively I can tell you that people certainly can get sick by being in the proximity of sloppy government waste and hazardous materials.

I can't even imagine how actual nuclear testing affected folks in that area.
