Our policies are being shaped and influenced outside of public discourse or our democratic constructs in behind-the-scenes deals conducted by the leaders of all of the entities you named, and others, that are strictly meant to make the super-rich richer. We have only the illusion of a democracy/republic...really just corporate indentured servitude.

SuperClass

what has changed from the beginning of all civilizations nothing. To my knowledge no form of republic or democracy has been pure free of corruption, and the greed for power and money. Nowadays for some, we are more aware, and we cannot be fooled as easy but what exactly can be done? We don't even know specifically who these NWO elitists are.A Good start might be to find out where they have the Bilderberger conference in 2009 , and rally a bunch of truthers at the destination demanding answers maybe?. this year it was held in Chantilly, Virginia .

I watched a pbs special in b/w a while back. Of common Americans pushing unions at Ford and elsewhere in the 20's and 30's. Saw the batons beating the heck out these people. They survived and made it so.
We must 'make it so'. Somehow, someway.

My son ( he's the one that told me about ATS ) and i were just discussing this last night. I was saying that the people just don't seem to have it in them anymore to fight for their rights, like they did in the past. There was a time when people would barracade themselves in their house and go out fighting rather than let the goverment take their land with their emminant domain BS to build a highway or mall.

I think part of it is because it's not just billy clubs & tear gas now, it's tazers and now they've got that ray gun, won't be long before they use that on us. Also that damn patriot act that allows them to deny you all your rights, freeze all your assests, etc. It seems that people just don't want to take the risk, to stand up for their rights anymore, i think many have just givin up because the majority believes that we've already lost it all with no hope off getting it back, that we have nothing to stand up for anymore.

There was a time when we knew that they just could not get away with doing certain things to us, and they knew it too. Those days are long gone, they have made sure to pass the laws to enable them to do whatever they want to us and get away with it (under the pretence of "national safety"), with out any fear of reprocussions. There needs to be a huge awakening in this country and it needs to happen right now.

When you stop representing the majority you stop being a democracy! Democratic nations all across the world are moving away from democracy and are becoming more socialist in thier applications of policy and law. This slide to socialism will continue until the people of the world rise up in revolution and change the course of their history.

Actually, this is what we get with the death of the Republic. Democracy, or the illusion of it anyway is how our rights get violated "in the interests of justice," and "for the good of the people."

In a Republic, your rights are the supreme law of the land, even to the detriment of the majority. In a Democracy, we have mob rule. Your rights are sacrificed upon the altar of the highest bidder.

It's not just the politicians that are screwing Americans it's CORPORATE AMERICA / CEO's that are running the country. We have become a country of "little kingdoms". The heads of Corporations are the ones putting money into "the election process".

We also have movie stars that can spend more money for a child's birthday party then most of us see in two years.

The war in Iraq alone is costing us trillions and guess who is going to pay for this little war? The middle class that's who.

People ya gotta wake up and start educating yourselves, and I don't mean the elite media owned news media.

Naomi Wolf's book, The End of America and Paul Waldman's book Fraud explain a lot of what's going on.

We are no longer a country run by the people, for the people. We are owned and enslaved by Corporate America and nothing short of a revolution is going to change anything.

Am I the only one that is mad about the social injustices that keep piling up higher and higher every year?

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Good luck in trying to find how who exactly "they are" when they hold these meetings I have read that they have their own security police as well as underground driveway tunnel leading to underground parking so you can't even see them exit their cars.
