Ok i am concerned by this, that this was not fixed straight away....

However a little scare Mongering going on by the original article as Influenza, measles and chickenpox (depending on the affected groups age/current illness etc) is more deadly!

MORE ON Q FEVER
Only about half the people infected with Q fever will show signs of illness, such as high fevers that last a week or two, severe headaches, confusion, nausea, pneumonia and chest pain. Only about 1 percent to 2 percent of people with acute Q fever die from it. In rare cases, people suffer chronic Q fever infections that damage their hearts, and as many as 65 percent of those will die from the disease.

OP source

so calm down everyone, its not contagious as such if you get it there is a very low liklihood of showing anything more than a common cold...

There are much more dangerous bacterium and virus out there to worry about than this..

However the lapse in safety would be of real real concern if it was in their high containment labs...

The recent mess up in the UK and Porton Down etc with Fout and Mouth being introduced through the ground show that we should take safety at these plants very much more seriously.... but but readers

This isn't going to be will smith in Im a hero... not this one...

Kind regards,

Elf
