Temporary Chat Outage

Greetings all!

It's my unfortunate duty to inform all of you that our beloved chat server is currently down for maintenance issues.

In our effort to constantly stay as current as possible with server security and performance, to better the experience of our membership, sometimes a few older parts of the site (chat) take some extra tweaking to get on the same page.

So basically... yes we know about it, no reason to worry, and it'll be back up as soon as possible, most likely after the weekend.

I just got in... It appears to be working now.

Well, that's pretty embarassing...

Anyways... I'll rephrase... IF you find that chat is not working, my post above is why.

Now the "chat" link in the button bar points to this thread, so I think it's official now (i.e., the Overlord is about to execute his diabolical plan, or something like that).

And yes, that is a pretty radical avvie.

I'm sorry, but it's Friday night and I'm a little tipsy but the first three posts are cracking me up and I can't stop laughing.
