I was up on Mt. Hamilton, California the other night and I noticed an illuminated object off in the distance. With my naked eye, it looked as if the craft was flashing different colors. In the picture, it is just one color.

I thought this was pretty strange, so I figured I should share it.

Thanks for the pictures but a little more info would be nice.

Did the craft act like a balloon perhaps?
Did the craft shoot off like a rocket.
How long did you observe the craft.

Have you experienced anyother anomalous events since?

Shutter speed comes to mind do to the time of day. Do you have any with exif data in them?

Would be an orb, no, with some slow shutter speed? Still doesn't explain the glowing though.

Could that be a light on a mountain past that valley?
Is there a mountain on the other side in the distance in the darkness?

Something like this.
outside.danmitchell.org...
Your looking out from Hamilton and your seeing a light on the mountain peaks opposite it.

It's a streetlight.

I watched it for some time. It lingered around for about and hour, randomly disappearing and reappearing. It eventually coasted slowly over the Santa Cruz mountains until it was out of sight.

I watched it for about an hour. It did not act like a balloon or a rocket. Sometimes it would just plain disappear.

And it was no blimp. I was at the very top of Mt. Hamilton.

I don't know what you are talking about. I might have exif data, I might not. What is it?

The mountain range behind the craft is called the Santa Cruz Mountains. It is not a light coming from that mountain range. The craft was higher than any mountain over there. The craft moved in different patterns. I wouldnt have taken a picture of a light on a hill and post it on here as a ufo.

I just dont work like that.

Oh my God, what a genius. That is exactly what it is, because they have streetlights that hover thousands of feet off the ground with not pole attatched to it.

I didn't know this website could be viewed in braille.

Thank you.

All that is smoke from all one hundred billion fires here in Ca. Air quality is poor, I can't wait for it to clear up.

Hehe.
Thank you, somebody had to put him in his place. Streetlight, give me a break. That's some low-grade disinfo.
