This is disturbing on many fronts one of which I have a friend who is in Turkey for an archeology dig. Turkey one of our best allies seems to also have their share of terrorists.

When siding with the U.S. Expect to have terrorists targeting you.

i would think given recent activity it was the PKK rather than any other group.

unless turkey are trying to get the PKK and al-qaeda identified as the same group....

The middle east is a powder keg anyway..and there are sparks flying around. Think about it
1) Iran war games
2) Iran threats
3) Isreal threats
4) Russia says an attack on Iran is an attack on us
5) Oil at record prices

This is scary situation

The attack was on a turkish consulate.

They wanted to blow it up(they had a truck with explosives)

The officers instead of getting in the consulate behind cover fought to death basically while someone from the traffic police came behind the terrorists and killed them with his pistol while they had AK's.
