What do you all think about the AP constantly excluding party affiliations in all the recent democrat scandals? Over the last year or more, every democrat scandal has been brushed under the rug, while republican scandals are hyped to the extreme.

For example, Recent scandal involving Baltimore's Mayor.

Not a single mention of party affiliation. In fact, the article reads more like a puff piece than reporting.

Another good example is the Detroit Mayor's scandal. The only place you can find mention of him as a democrat is right leaning sites and Fox. Stations like CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC and CBS all leave the party (D) out of their TV reports.

Now, if these were Republicans you can be sure their party would be first and foremost in the story. There are many more examples of this like Spitzer, who the media covered for about a week. Eventually, they had to start showing party because people were complaining. There was an AP article that mentioned a "Republican governors association", but never once mentioned Spitzer's party.

Whats going on here? (Besides a media almost totally dominated by democrats)
