I can only imagine that it is show the electrical charge or radiation or
X-rays or whatever it uses to see inside somebody.

Can you turn the machine on and take another pic then turn it off and take another pic.

I say it it just what the machine utilises to do it's job.

You obviously know more about it than me so I could very possibly be wrong.
But with the nature of the machine seems logical to me that you have just caught the static charge of it.

Not unlike one of these...

I'm not sure I'm looking at the orb but if it is the bright lines in the center it almost looks like a "heart".
Also so, my doctor says I have a blocked artery and he wants to put a stent in my heart. I sure wish they had this machine in Tampa Fl . I would get a second opinion.

I was expecting to see a very regular orb photo... this seems at least a little bit special, I'll give you that. On the other hand though, it really looks like a hair on the camera...

OP
I'm still thinking on the reflection off the metal ring.
Could you post a larger image of the photo without the orb?

Thanks

Yeah, and ofcourse the radiology unit remains pin sharp throughout this process. Duh.

And btw, a hair on the lens? A HAIR? Well perhaps if you believe in angels.

Let's face it, it's time to call Egon.

I recreated your orb!
I did it with my wedding ring (in place of metal ring) a book (in place of wall) and a light bulb slightly shaded with my hand (light source). I need to get batteries for my camera but as soon as I do I'll post pics!

It looks like you caught a very beautiful play of light.
