Working definition: "Anti-[S]emitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of anti[-S]emitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities."

Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as a collective - such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.

Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews.

Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g., gas chambers), or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).

Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

For asking simple questions about the racist, Apartheid state of Israel, or asking questions about the Zionist version of the Holocaust™, the State Department wants to toss people in jail.

Seems clear enough to me. Don't read, think and educate yourself as to what's going on the world and how in the hell the U.S. got in such a big mess in Iraq, since that is against the law.

I'm not harping on this. It's just everywhere I turn I run into this type of thing, only this time it's laid all out in black and white for us and tells exactly how it is in this country. I thought this was America... not Amer-Israel. OOOOOPS!

Well... I guess I won't be here much longer... nice knowing ya'll.

I'm not entirely sure what the point of this post is.

Are you trying to reach the conclusion that America is a racist, anti-semitic country? Or are you making the point that Israel is and we are evil for supporting them?

Either way it won't change my reaction to this post...

Well, nyk357... where's one of these for everyone else? Why do only the Jews get this special "protection" on matters such as outlined above? How about Muslims? Why not everyone? See the point? See the favoritism? What is the real the agenda of this country? It's not for U.S., that's for damn sure.

Take this commentary for what it's worth, but ya' can't argue much that is in here. I'm certainly not the only one in this world willing to question motives and agendas of anyone

"All of the Palestinians must be killed; men, women, infants, and even their beasts." This was the religious opinion issued one week ago by Rabbi Yisrael Rosen, director of the Tsomet Institute, a long-established religious institute attended by students and soldiers in the Israeli settlements of the West Bank.

There is no dispute among observers in Israel that the shooting in Jerusalem three weeks ago that killed eight Jewish students in a religious school was pivotal for Jewish authorities issuing religious opinions of a racist, hateful nature. The day following the Jerusalem incident, a number of rabbis led by Daniel Satobsky issued a religious opinion calling on Jewish youth and "all those who believe in the Torah" to take revenge on the Palestinians as hastily as possible. A week following the operation, a group of leading rabbis issued an unprecedented religious opinion permitting the Israeli army to bomb Palestinian civilian areas. The opinion is issued by the "Association of Rabbis of the Land of Israel" and states that Jewish religious law permits the bombing of Palestinian civilian residential areas if they are a source of attacks on Jewish residential areas. It reads, "when the residents of cities bordering settlements and Jewish centres fire shells at Jewish settlements with the aim of death and destruction, the Torah permits for shells to be fired on the sources of firing even if civilian residents are present there."

Distorting anti-Semitism

“We’re witnessing a new, global, virulent and even lethal anti-Semitism without parallel or precedent since the Second World War,” said Canadian MP Irwin Colter, one of the organizers. “It is not only essential to sound the alarm, but it’s time to act.”

However, from reading in between the lines, it becomes amply clear that the real target these Zionist supremacists have in mind is not the morbid hatred of Jews for being Jews, otherwise known as anti-Semitism. It is rather the growing global awareness of and opposition to Israeli apartheid, criminality and genocidal policies being pursued in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Alright... if certain people can't be educated thru everything I've posted around this place about this issue, then there is nothing more I can do. And I certainly didn't intend on following this line of thought, but I go where the *giant* neon arrow is pointing...
