whats the point in having an area for a signiture
when most people just Type in their screen names after they replied?

i find it the most irritating and stupid (was going to use a stronger word) thing.
does one Really need to retype their name or screen name in each post?

why not place it in the signiture space.

thats my rant for the day

Well you've certainly put your's to good use with that quote. And who says games aren't educational?

I do wonder why people need to put their username at the end of a post as well.

I've always thought that the signature space was supposed to be used for a favourite quote or links to "something".

I find it odd when people put their screen name in.All I need to do is look to the left to see who posted.

Actually this has been mentioned before, and I said just the same thing as I'm going to say here.

It's manners. Plain and simple. You don't leave someone's house without saying goodbye and you don't let somebody leave your house without showing them to the door. At least not where I'm from.

And while we are needlessly complaining about things, I've always been rather bothered by the hole in my ass. I mean why... Why is it there.

I see what your saying bodrul, but sometimes it's like signing off, Say you write something that you think is really good. Your proud of what you wrote, so much that you sign off on it.

I sometimes sign off with Wukky, cause that is what, whatukno shortens to. Or I will sign off as What U KNO cause I screwed up when I signed up with ATS on my screen name. (thought it was just a login name and I would get to choose my name afterward) It's kinda like campaign ads that the person in the ad shows up at the end and says. Hi I'm Bla-blah and I approve this message.

A person that signs their screen name is the same way.

MonKey just freaks me out with that whole capital K in the middle of his signature line. I don't know what up with that.

Wukky.

As my capitalization is freaking you out: I'll explain.

In Chinese every word is basically one syllable. As my name has a Chinese theme I used the capitals to place a bit of added emphasis.

I'm only going to leave it there for a bit. No doubt AD will tell me off for making more bum jokes!

Like whatukno said, its like saying goodbye, i have just been brought up to think it's rude not to sign a letter/post.

not that i think other people that don't sign posts are rude, i just don't feel right when i don't do the Roswell. thing...ya know?

i wouldn't be surprised if i triggered this thread

i think its kind of retarded (not saying it to the members)
when i leave a house i say good bye

when i finish a reply i dont say good bye as there isnt any point to it.
i dont see how you bringing in manners from someone visiting and leaving a house has to do with things.

and to me its kind of pointless for someone to retype their screen names in their posts when its shown in their profile.

or why not take the easy step and place it in their signiture?
isnt that where it is suppose to be? it is basicaly a signiture when someone places their name at the bottom.
edit:

also the hole in your ass is where waste product exits your body
just in case they didnt teach u that in school

for some reason i find it irratating when someone always has to retype their name in their posts which gives me a certain urge to ignore their posts good or bad

To me, putting it in your signature is showing that you don't care, that you don't care enough about your posts to simply type your name...plus my signature is full
