Strikeforce: Cung Le Vs Frank Shamrock (spoilers)

Here's a quick rundown. Pardon the typos, I was typing and watching at the same time:



Five round fight Strike Force

Round One:
First round even, imo. Cung has a bloody mouth on the left side. Think he got scratched at the end of the round.

Stephen Quattros has Cung winning this round.


Round Two:
Le is looking good gets some punches and a roundhouse kick that knocks Frank's mouthpiece out.

Le is in a southpaw stance, right hand hand forward. He lands a number of kicks

At 1:26 to go Le lands a good series that rocks Shamrock who acknowledges it.

Le is repeatedly getting in the short front side teep kick

I have Le winning this round


Round three:

Le is doing well with his lateral movement. He's winning round three so far.

Reportedly Frank has a missing ACL (knee ligament.), which might explain his inability to shoot in and take Le down.

Le is repeatedly roundhouse kicking Frank in the head.

Le's keeping his hands low, possibly showing disdain for Franks boxing skills

At 2:45 to go Le lands a hook kick and a spinning backfist

Le does one of his signature sweeps. Suddenly the smile disappears from Shamrock's face.

The crowd is shouting Cung le, Cung le.

Another left leg round kick to Franks' head

If Cung doesn't make a mistake I think he could take this.

Frank rocks him with 1:15 to go.

They're banging at 0:49 to go

Frank gets in an elbow and a knee up against the cage

Lee looks winded but gets in another spinning bkfst

Frank gets in a knee at 15 to go.

At then end of the round. Le has rocked and stunned Frank up against the cage. I might be over folks!!

WE HAVE A NEW STRIKEFORCE CHAMPION AND HIS NAME IS CUNG LE!!
