Blood On Satan's Claw

From 2 am to 3:45 am, Turner Classic Movies showed this English film called 'Blood On Satan's Claw.' I had seen it once as a teenager, but couldn't remember much about it. I remember now why it enjoys a cult status among certain people. It starts out during the 1600's with a young man plowing a field. He turns up a skull that still has the eyes in it. He runs off to find the magistrate to let him know what he found. The Magistrate doesn't believe him, but goes off with him to the field. Needless to say, when they get there, it is not there. Soon after this, the children start acting funny and start lieing abnout some of the adults who give them problems. They even give some of the other children problems. One of the adults they lie about is the local preacher. The leader of the children accuses him of having tried to molest her. He is then arrested and questioned severly by the Magistrate. Shortly after this, he starts to put things together and realizes that the children may not be so innocent after all. At about this time, one of the men finds his daughter's body in the ruins of a church that is used by the children for their satan worship. She has been raped and murdered by the other children. One of the other children is caught and questioned by the Magistrate. She is forced to tell him what the children are up to and where they will finish conjuring up the devil. She tries to tell him it's too late when he heads off to stop what they are going to do. The Magistrate has the townfolk meet at the preachers house. After the Magistrate has prepared himself for action, he has his assistant give him his sword and they head off in the dead of night for the burned out church. They get thereand the leader of the children tries to stop the Magistrate from interfering with their ceremony, but is killed. The Devil then attempts to take on the Magistrate, but because the ceremony hadn't been completed, he loses. The Magistrate impales Satan on his sword and then throws him on a fire that was already lit when they got to the burned out church. Good triumphs over evil. Sorry if this post was a bit long. I just tried to get enough detail in so that people could get the basic gist of the movie.
