Actually, I never bothered to check where my familly comes from. I was born & raised in Canada tho.

Does anyone know of a website or services that you can do some kind of check up, using familly name or something? Now you all got me curious.

We have a lot of light eyes in our family, and light light skin. Could go all the way back to the " Arayans " who brought that gene to India.

consider my self "West Indian", born in Guyana, moved to NY when I was 9.

One side of my great great grandparents were originally from India, taken to Guyana as indentured laborers.
We look like the Indians, share some of the culture, but with our own unique Western spin....hence the term "west Indian".

The other half of my heritage is a big ole mix of black, portuguese, chinese and indian.

Pure South Indian, or atleast I think I am.

Wonder if they are anyone else other than us three here.

My Fathers grandparents, (or their parents) came straight from Ireland, My mothers side, mostly Italian, but has everything else.
